  • AOK
Unlike a number of other buyers, my Enterprise set arrived in pristine condition, was packed on air pillows and covered by other items so that it didn't move within the box. I did heed other reviews and purchased a Case Logic DVD case from Amazon to house all 24 discs. The disks are indeed difficult to access in the original container, and sit 2 on each peg. Putting them back without affecting the disk surface might be difficult. I checked each disk and they were all nice and shiny, no smudges or scratches when I slipped each one into its new home. I popped the 1st disk in the player and it played as expected, looked good, sounded good. No problems. I'm quite happy with the products. I watched STE when it was first run, so no surprises there - I'll leave the critiques of the program to others. ... show more

  • Great show, bad packaging.
Enterprise is a fantastic show and the quality of the blu rays is fine, my problem is the the plastic shells that the discs come in are horrible quality. Discs will constantly come off of their snaps. Another problem that isn’t as big of a deal is the way they laid out the special features. Instead of putting all the features onto one disc per season, they’re spread out haphazardly. You could watch a special feature on a season 1 disc that completely spoils something from seasons 3 or 4 (which might upset some people who haven’t watched the series before). All in all though I’m glad I purchased this. ... show more

  • Great series but the case itself is not so
I just received my Blu-Ray set today. This review isn't about the series itself. I do remember when it first came out, it was polarizing...people either liked it or hated. I was lukewarm at first but over the years like Star Trek Voyager, I have grown to love them (I can't say the same with the current Star Trek show offerings but that's a whole another matter). Now, the packaging itself is what I am not a fan of with this set. When I carefully opened it up, at least 5 of the 24 discs were loose. I carefully looked over the discs to see if there were any scratches. Luckily, they seem fine. Will need to watch to verify I guess. My advice to you is to buy one of those EVA molded 24 disc case by Case Logic or a similar brand. I have bought them for all my season series shows that I enjoy. It's easier to access the discs and in my opinion they will protect your discs far better than the original packaging. ... show more

  • Videos work perfectly but case was a mess.
The videos were fine. The case they came in, however, was a real pita. Instead of each season being grouped together they were all lumped into one another. You really have to dig each one out and there's no good way to organize them by season and order. I give the videos 5 stars; I give the case zero. ... show more

  • Entertaining and Engaging Star Trek series
Bought this DVD series so I could watch the Star Trek Enterprise when I wanted, plus to eliminate all the commercials. I found this series on a satellite channel that was added. it was being shown for 6 nights late at night with plenty of commercials. As I watched, and enjoyed the series, I was tired of seeing all the ads and ordered this so i could see the episodes as intended. This was listed as a prequel to the original Star Trek series and it's interesting, humorous, and certainly entertaining. The special effects are good, better than I expected, but similar to some of the Star Trek movies. Enjoyed all the actors in this series, they seemed to mesh as a group and had both caring and sad moments. A purchase I plan to enjoy many times. Some comments I had read before watching made me question the series, but it's true to the many Star Trek series that preceded and certainly worth the time spent watching. Too bad the series ended after only 4 years, would have liked more of the series. ... show more

  • 2021 DVD Re-release. One Case!
I just received this product and I was pleasantly surprised that all the discs were in one case. I was expecting seasons 1-3 in an Epik Pak and then season 4 separate based on all the pics I've found online. Amazon also has the 2017 original Epik Pak but it was substantially more expensive. Buying this 2021 set was the best value, even compared to buying the seasons individually. While it's great to have all the discs in one case It kind of stinks that about 3 discs are always sitting on top of each other. So navigating through to each disc will be a little difficult, especially since all the discs are gray and only differentiated by stating which season and disc from that season the discs are. The gray and the shiny text does make it a little hard to read. But the value was the best part of all. You can't beat it if you want or collect the DVDs like I do. OH! Another detail to note is that the discs are secured inside the case, the pieces holding the discs are not removable, at least I haven't tried because I don't want to break it but they aren't loose and can't just fall out when the case is opened. To accommodate all the discs and case is a little deeper than a standard DVD case (meaning when looking at the front of the set) but the case is the same height so if you have OCD it won't stand out like a sore thumb on your shelf. I have all the other Star Trek DVDs (except for TAS) as single seasons but wasn't about to pay $20 a season for a show that ended 17 years ago. EDIT: Since 2 or 3 discs are always stacked on top of each other which makes it difficult to get to some of them I found a cheap travel case. I put the discs in that while I'm watching them. Once I'm done with the show I'll put all the discs back in the case and voila! Just a little tip that might help others. ... show more

  • The Final Frontier Begins
I’m a huge Star Trek fan. When this series came out at the start of the new century I was so happy. Star Trek Enterprise is a great series to let any fan get ideas of what it was like before the famous UFP was established and humanity took that first leap in exploring deep space. Great series and I highly recommend to all. “Live Long and Prosper.”🖖🏻 ... show more
