My cat recently developed two completely separate medical conditions that, taken together, created all the symptoms of kidney failure. Anyone who has experienced the loss of a pet would know that when they’re dying even the most domesticated of animals will retreat into hiding in an attempt to draw predators away from their loved ones. I spent nearly a week dragging Sadie out from under my bed before I was able to take her to the vet (didn’t want to rush to the animal hospital because I fully expected a diagnosis of kidney failure and since Sadie did not yet appear to be fading away I wasn’t in a hurry to rush the end). Turns out Sadie is NOT dying . . . we were very lucky. The whole experience then prompted a search for a “solid-style” bedskirt that would prevent my cat from being able to hide under my bed. I certainly never expected it to cost $150! But anyone with a pet would understand why I still didn’t hesitate. This bedskirt works exactly as advertised and looks really good once in place. Installation went much faster than I expected and didn’t take more than 30 minutes. I folded the skirt into “hospital corners” and then used a couple strips of duck tape to keep the corners lying flat before buckling the corners. Manyfacturer says this can’t be used with a headboard but that’s not true if certain conditions are met. The headboard cannot be wider than the bed frame and if the headboard attaches to the wall then the bed frame must detach from the headboard. That said, the depth of the headboard really doesn’t matter since the stripes and buckles are plenty long enough to just wrap around the headboard before shoving it back against the wall. Also works with my adjustable king bed thankfully I bought it to try even though the manufacturer states that it’s not for an adjustable bed and I’m delighted it works Makes the bed look so much nicer Regular bedskirts are so frilly poofy and ugly , Even the (tailored) ones stink This really should only be like $80 for a king so it’s way overpriced for what you get but I like it anyway and it works ... show more

I was a little worried that I paid too much for this product but was willing to take a chance. I just received it and can honestly say that it is worth every penny. It is super light weight yet incredibly sturdy. Some of the other comments mentioned an issue with an attached headboard. This was not an issue since the straps are completely adjustable and fit around the outside of my headboard legs with absolutely no problems. It was super easy to tighten the straps. Some other comments mentioned not being able to stow items under the bed. I don’t use my bed to store things under so that’s not an issue for me but it would definitely require removing one side of the product to access anything stowed under the bed. It wouldn’t be hard to do but it’s easier to just not stow things under the bed. Some comments mentioned a strong odor. I would relate it to a slight odor of glue when it’s first removed from its packaging. The odor was gone within a few minutes. By the way , the product comes in a nice storage bag that I will probably never use unless I order the product in another color. Still, it’s very nicely packaged. Installation took me about 10 to 15 minutes and most of that time was spent trying to pull my bed away from the wall. The actual product install took only a few minutes. I did not need help. It is easily a one-person job. This is a high quality product and is exactly as advertised. I would recommend this to anyone and I would purchase it again. It would be nice if the price was a little lower but I am VERY satisfied and very happy to toss the old bed-in-a-bag style “dust ruffle” in the trash forever. 😀 ... show more

I prefer a more sleek look than ruffles. Goes well with my feminine rustic theme. This was easy to put on and with a little steam to iron out few wrinkles, I was pretty happy. There is room for improvement however. It’s pricy..$150 is steep for what you get. I’d waited for the Presidents Day sale, and with certificates paying around $75. There is no way to clean, eventually I’ll have to deal with this. Also the top of the bed skirt just lays on your main bed frame and you tuck it in while making your bed. I’d prefer it being secured with Velcro maybe. Still pretty satisfied. ... show more

Fabric is beautiful. It would work for 14" drops. In the pictures, you can see that the drop is under 16" to get to the floor. In order to get it as pictured, safety pins were needed to keep the sides from drooping. for the 150 price, it isn't worth the price.

I wasn’t sure what I would be getting! I just got this and I am so obsessed- the quality is great. Easy to put on! And it looks so high end in person. I wasn’t expecting it. It’s definitely on the higher price point here but so worth it.
