In comparison to the one I was replacing....the o-rings were different ....original small top is green and lower large is blue....but the biggest factor is that the gasket cap doesn’t go down and over the edge to the lower large o-ring like original and when in place fuel would gush out around it. And yes, I remembered to oil the o-rings and install c clip back in place. ... show more

    • Works on 5.0L in 2000 Explorer
The one that came on a 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0L V8 has the vacuum nipple coming straight out the top but this one has it coming out the side. I did research and Ford has discontinued the right one for the truck and said to use one for a Crown Victoria or something similar (which is ridiculous btw.... This thing is not that old.). Anyways, it works perfectly. There is plenty of room for the vacuum nipple to be side mounted instead of top mounted. Fixed the blown regulator on the truck and it runs great again. ... show more
