High Quality Stainless Steel Cleaning “sponges” - if only used on the correct surface I am 70 years old. I have washed a lot of pots and pans. I really like using these Stainless Steel Cleaning “sponges”. However, you must only use these on appropriate surfaces because they will ruin the wrong surface. These work great on the inside cooking surface of my cast iron pans. These work great on the inside cooking surface of my Stainless Steel pans. However, you must not use these Stainless Steel Cleaning “sponges” on shinny Stainless Steel or you will ruin that surface. For example do not use these on a shinny cookie sheet, pizza pan, cake pan, and etc.. I DO NOT immediately clean any of my cooking utensils like I have seen my friends do. Instead I let Mother Nature do most of the dish washing work for me by soaking my dishes, and pots and pans in water or in soapy water. I have seen my friends work really hard to destroy their cooking utensils by making deep scratches and gouges that are even harder to clean. The website provides some very good information about the proper use of these Stainless Steel Cleaning “sponges”. However, the website also gives very dangerous information that you MUST NOT follow. This is the good advice. Quoting verbatim, “Ideal for uncoated cookware.” The good advice keyword being “UNCOATED”. This is the dangerous information that you MUST NOT follow quoting verbatim, “Great for pots, pans, grills, oven and more.” - You MUST NOT clean your grill with these Stainless Steel Cleaning “sponges”. These “sponges” fall apart and leave pieces of dangerous shards of shrapnel laying around. In your kitchen sink you can adequately rinse away the dangerous shards of shrapnel. In an outside BBQ grill you CANNOT rinse away all the tiny dangerous shards of shrapnel. You must not use these to wash any Food Preparation surface that you cannot thoroughly rinse with lots of water. Please do an internet search about how these dangerous shards of shrapnel, from these Stainless Steel Cleaning Sponges, and wire brush bristles, break off and get eaten and cause great bodily harm (sepsis) and even death. It is very easy to clean a grill with no effort whatsoever. You clean the grill like cleaning a “Self Cleaning” home oven. Simply crank the grill up to full blast heat for about ½ hour before using it. The high heat turns stuck on left over food into white ash that is easily wiped off with a cooking oil soaked paper towel held in long tongs. ... show more

Carrie Joe Steel Wool Sponge Kitchen Stainless Steel Scrubber Scouring Pad Kitchen Scrubber for Dishes Cast Iron Scrubber Cleaning Supplies Stainless steel wool sponges are my go-to for cleaning stainless steel and cast iron pans in my kitchen. They last forever, and they can be easily cleaned by placing in your dishwasher. These steel wool sponges are much larger than the name brand ones you find in the double box in your grocery store. But they work exactly the same. I keep one going for my outdoor grill, as well as another for my gardening tools. At this price, you can use them all over your house and garage. These work pretty well for scrubbing caked on food and grease off of your pots and pans and baking sheets. Unfortunately for me they became hard to use as they unraveled and lost their shape. The price point was pretty good though for 6 pieces. You will have to throw them away eventually but I do think you get your money worth with this product. ... show more

They're fine, and for the price I can't complain. They're helpful to have, and definitely aid in scraping food and residue off dishes. They aren't especially durable, and will quickly end up as a wild ball of steel wool (but still usable). In my photo, the one on the left I probably used for 6 pans before it ended up that way. You can rinse and squeeze it to a point, but it will end up with enough residue stuck in it to throw it away and move to the next one. For the price point, they're perfectly fine, and I'd recommend trying them, but don't expect them to last forever. ... show more

Wonderful scrubbers! I think these are absolutely great, they are so much better than the copper scrubbers I was using. First thing I like about them is the size they are a really good size about the size of my palm. They are not as sharp as the copper so much gentler on my hands. I really like that they are individually packaged also. I think the quality is very good and the price is very reasonable. They work really well on my cast iron and on my stainless steel. I am very happy with this product and will be purchasing it in the future. ... show more

These little scrubbers are handy in so many different places. They work wonders on my iron skillets without messing up the seasoning. Others work well for getting hard water off. Anything that is stubborn and needs to be scrubbed are a good job for these. You get a bunch in this pack.
