    • There is a FIX for DEFECTIVE SEAL!

Almost every negative review sites the silicone seal as defective. Once it comes off, it cannot be set back into the lid. Don't even try. If you succeed, it will pop off first chance. Fix 1: Cut the seal (once) and replace into lid with thin layer of silicone sealant. Fill the resulting space (where the cut is) with sealant and let cure before replacing the lid. Fix 2: Screw the seal. Place a bead of silicone sealant into the recess of the lid (where the seal was originally). Scrape level and let cure. As for the latches: LARGE RUBBER BANDS ... show more

The original design had a very poor latch mechanism that wasn't robust. while the containers still worked the latches would fall off. The new design appears much more robust with a pin holding the latch instead of just folded metal.

Was looking for containers for bulk spices (cinnamon, cloves, star spice) and these are perfect! Most spice containers are small and have a clear lid when some spices need to be keep in dark containers to retain flavor. Great sizes and air-tight! Canisters stack without sliding or falling and all without a magnet. Love the 3 latches to close tight and the way they can nest inside each other when not in use. I can keep a separate spoon inside each container, too, so they are ready to be used when needed. Added a label, and I'm very happy! ... show more

I was a little skeptical about how well these would compare to a "Cvault" (which I do own...an 8 liter). Price wise they're great. Size wise also great. I have no idea how many ounces all 3 would hold....but the larger one is holding a good 3 at least. Air tight wise these are as good as my "Cvault". I've had stash in them now for over a month with small Boveda packs in each one. The Boveda packs remain in a gel state...the stash is nice & fresh. A very good purchase. N'uff said. ... show more

These containers rock! I recently started on my zero waste journey so I wanted a sturdy and plastic free way to be able to bring my food to places, such as a lunch container or hiking container, and I wanted a way to bring home food from to-go places without creating more plastic. And these fit the bill! They are extremely durable, I've already taken them hiking with me and they have no scratches or anything. The lids on all 3 containers seal tight, so tight that I filled them up with water and flipped them upside down and there is no water leakage! (If you leave them upside down some water will slowly start to come out over a few minutes... but just dont leave them upside down for long periods of time!) The clips on the side are strong and dont cause the lids to rattle at all. Overall I love these, they are very attractive and I want to buy more of these as Christmas presents for my family. ... show more

My only complaint is that the seals do not stay on. They are still useable but I cannot put liquids in them as it will leak without the seals. I love how light weight they are.
