I like the yellow color, texture and shape of the handle. It feels good in my arthritic hands. I haven't tried the zester on cheese yet, but am confident it will work well. It is nice that a little brush to clean the metal part and a protective cover has been included. I found that the little brush fits nicely on the top of the zester for storage when the protective cover is on. I am very happy with the zester I just purchased. It came quickly as intended. I love the quality and the length. It is so easy to use and really does the job when zesting lemons. Great product for the money!

    • Does a good job but metal feels cheap
I bought this instead of the microplane one as it was like half the cost, well rated, and looked almost identical. It works great and the brush it comes with helps scrap things like lemon zest off it and into a bowl. The downside to this product is that the metal feels cheap, so using too much pressure could cause it to bend or break. Given how this is a zester and not a cheese grater I don't expect anyone to be using too much force. The prongs are sharp and do a good job cutting off lemon zest with ease so you really don't need a lot of force to begin with. But I really have nothing in my kitchen to compare it to. And I've never used a microplane one before either, just that americas test kitchen voted that one best. I will end up using this for things like Parmesan at some point and I think it can still do a good job at it. Just something to keep in mind. ... show more

I wanted to wait and review this after I had used it for citrus as well as cheese. It works fantastic! It has an easy grip for safety, and is the right size with a long handle for storage with its slim design. So happy I finally invested Happy zesting everybody lol
