The welds on this item are less than clean. They're definitely rough and ready. There are scuffs as well. Despite the look of it, it doesn't appear to impact the functioning of this for brewing. I got it for my father who brews often so I will update if he has any issues with it in the process.

I know this says Dry Hopper Filter Screen Strainer, but it's also really great for infusing any type of herb with your olive or coconut oils! Easily attached to the pot, and does what it's meant to do. I've found that using the extension for your sink (handheld faucet) works best for cleaning. Great price and fast shipping! ... show more

My husband has become quite the home brewer and was excited to get this Hopper Strainer. No more trying to tie the stretchy bag of hops to the side of his brew pot. This handy-dandy creation has hooks so it can hang over the side into the pot. It also makes dumping the residue out a whole lot easier and having to remember to order more of the stretchy bags.
