Description

Have rough running or surging small engine equipment? This additive was designed specifically to treat small engines having a little trouble running. The fuel system cleaners go to work right away to start eating away at gum and varnish that causes rough starts, or no starts. Ethanol blended fuels are no worries with this formula as Fast Fix will help keep the fuel system clean. Everything from the tank to the carburetor or injectors will be cleaned out when using Fast Fix. This product prevents the need of having to take your small engine to a shop or having to disassemble the engine. This formula is compatible with all gasoline small engine equipment. Just pour in the tank and be on your way. The STA-BIL Brand is proudly made in the USA. The 4oz bottle will treat 10 gallons of gas and the 8oz bottle will treat 20 gallons.

I bought this hoping to save my mower. After changing air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, oil, carburetor cleaning, I bought this and added it to the fuel. No dice. Realized my engine is just shot. However, a friend's mower that I borrowed was having a hard start, having to spray with starter fluid every time. I figured I'd use this and see if it helped. Sure did!! The engine struggled for about 15 minutes after adding it, so I stopped it snd let it set. I started it up and man!! Did it start!! Zero problems after stopping it and restarting it again. After my Kohler engine started surging ang checking the fuel pump and filter and auto choke lingage and all and not finding the cause, I was lazy and busy and didn't feel like pulling the carburetor apart. So I thought I'd try this STA-BIL Fast Fix Small Engine Treatment. It didn't immediately work and I figured a few bucks wasted. But a few days later and a couple of hours run time, as the mower was idling, the engine suddenly smoothed out and is running great again. I have a 87 Honda shadow sitting for a couple years and I forgot to drain carbs. I’ve had this bike a long time and have removed the cabs in the past. Very difficult to do. It definitely had plugged jets in carbs and ran rough. So I thought I would try this stuff. I probably put more in than recommended but what could it hurt. It didn’t run right anyway. For some reason I have been unable to buy Fast Fix in any local store, so, as always, I rely on Amazon. This stuff works wonders in my small four-cycle engines, from trimmer, edger, blower, mower and even my Kawasaki Mule. When they start running rough, I simply add this to the gas tank and let the engine run at idle for about 15 minutes. Almost without fail, the engine smooths out, accelerates cleanly and runs reliably from that point on. Keeps my engines running at their peak without having to constantly clean and adjust them. I have a walk behind mower that was surging pretty badly. I added a small among of this to a full tank, ran for 15 minutes and let it set overnight. I changed the plug for good measure and started it up. Running nice and smooth now! For those wondering about how much to add (like I was) I added half a "line" on the lable to a full tank of a regular walk behind mower and mixed it up. Worked well with no problems. ... show more

It doesn't help as written but it really helps to make working older gasoline in the engine's tank. Note about 10-20 gallons doesn't make sense (just less amount of green liquid for the same high price). Before the use I add about 1 oz of it in the tank. I wait for 1/2- 1 hour. I spray chock cleaner and engine starts working. I prefer not to stop engine because most probably after the stop you should repeat all the performance. People started to sell less amount ("for 10 gallons" instead of "for 20 gallons"). It is best way to change the gasoline to fresh one but you don't have expiration on the pump of the gas station. :) ... show more

What I can say. I left my 2008 Prairie 360 with fuel in the carb for 8months unused. Hardly wanted to idle on choke. So I did the usual teardown of the carb and cleaned it. Well it still wasn't happy about idling and had a misfire at idle. Reving up was fine, but higher rpm cruising it was starving for fuel. It was at a 1/4, tank I added about 1oz. Let it idle like the instructions say for 15min. Around minute 7 the idle suddenly jumped way up. I actually had to lower the carb idle adjust manually to lower it. Then slowly the misfire coughs at idle went away completely. Took it for a quick ride and it must have completely cleaned out whatever I missed in the carb. The stuff works. Glad I found it.
