My daughter's 2009 Beetle started running codes and going into limp home mode. Research of the codes indicated the throttle body, but a good clean on her's simply didn't work. So, I took a chance here on this one based on the good reviews-and it paid off. The throttle body itself was packed/protected well (a good sign) and seemed to be a quality part in actual construction and finish (a better sign). Once installed, it worked great right-throttle response was significantly better, the engine ran noticeably better, and the codes on my daugher's VW Beetle were gone. Product returns a huge performance improvement. The red warning light prompted the repair, but the overall improvement in performance very noticable. At 70K would expect the OEM throttle body to be so dirty, but, it was. This new one, about thirty minutes to perform the swap, delivers immediate improved drivability. When installing, make it easier on you by removing the air box, the battery, the battery tray. Then, access is super easy. Besides the battery terminal, there are two electrical connections that need be un-connected. Take your time, do them right and easy to take off. ... show more
