This little gated playpen is perfect for space needing cordoned off. We use it in our kitchen/dining room to corral our Bernese Mountain Puppy-it works great. Easy to assemble, but I kept one side open for ease of use(using the wall as a final 'side') in addition to the little door, which he hops through no problem. I would be concerned about a toddler pinching their little fingers in between panels, so I wouldn't use it for a child-but puppies and small dogs will appreciate the space out of a kennel and you'll appreciate less messes while potty training! ... show more

We have used similar items to this for years for our puppies. We have several sets from various manufacturers. I ordered these because the taller 32 inch fence is too hard to reach into or step over, so the 24 inch seemed ideal for puppies. The fencing material seems to be the same as the taller fences which is good. As mentioned, I have several sets of fencing and the fence sections have never been a problem. This is far superior to the plastic fencing that the top and bottom screw together. Those were awful to put together. Plus the visibility is better through the metal fence. The gate is the weak spot on this style of fence. Just enter and exit with care and everything will be fine. Repeated slamming of the fence by my teens have caused some latches to break or become bent. My biggest worry with this fence is the connecting poles. The other fences I have use a 10mm pole. These are a flimsier 4mm pole. They seem adequate for the job. I hope these will prove sturdy in the long run. ... show more

It took 20 minutes to assemble the dog cage the first time. It nice looking once completed and has a easy to open door. The box it came in makes for a nice storage. The only negative is when you’re taking apart some on the Plastic garments far off.

    • Great little pen for my dog
I have a smaller dog, so the 2' high fence works well (even though he can probably jump it, he doesn't know he can jump it) to keep him out of the areas. Instead of making a play pen, I use this as a fence to block off access to an area. Works well especially since the bottom of each gate has a rubber (or rubber-like) pad to prevent scratches. However, I with the poles also had padding as I added silicone bumpers to prevent scratching the floor. I also like the fact that you can take apart, but leave the sections in pairs since they close flat. I have another fence that won't lay flat so I have to take apart each section separately. This is perfect for a small puppy or a little/medium dog that needs to be contained. It is exactly as described. It has a strong metal frame and is very easy to put together. I found this really helpful for our aging dog that has been having a lot of stomach issues and needs to be contained in a small area when we are gone. ... show more
