I have been looking for a tools like this for a while now, there is another company that makes one that is five times the price and half as good. Quality is top notch, it’s easy to use. I was finally able to find out why some of the wood I was using was binding up on the outfeed of my saw. Using a square or ruler, everything looked straight and parallel to me. But using the micrometer, I was able to find that my blade was pitched to the right while my fence was pitched to the left. Not enough to notice any other way and not enough to bind up on every cut. But if I had a knotty piece of wood, or something that wasn’t completely dry and had some internal stress on it. It would bind up and start acting like it was about to kick back. This tool is a great tool, and the price is awesome. Can’t say enough about the company. I have a few of there products and everything they make is top notch! Definitely worth buying this and checking out everything else they make! ... show more

    • Very accurate gauge
I’m hesitant at first to buy this because of the two negatives. But when I looked at them they’re more on mishandling and not on the quality of the device itself. I’ve just got a cordless Milwaukee table saw and I’ve been trying to calibrate the blade for 3 days using a fake Chinese matco dial indicator and a DIY mount and the needle would always be flopping everywhere. When this gauge arrived it just took me about 20 minutes to calibrate the blade. Highly recommended ... show more

    • Great product for the money
Product does what it’s expected. Easy to use and accurate. If I had to nit pick I would say the set screws are very chincy and the screws that holds the dial in was screwed all the way in upon arrival. And if you don’t have a super long super tiny screwdriver you are not backing it out. And if you over tighten the screw that hold the dial it causes it to shift. Just have to make sure the dial is pushed all the way in the slot and is parallel to the surface. I’m sure the red brand works great but I can’t afford them right now. I put a machinist square up to everything and its dead on! Solid product, but it came in all beat up or I was shipped a used product. Not sure if this is amazons fault of the vendors Nor am I sure if I'm going to send it back for a replacement or keep it. Update: I decided I was going to keep it despite the scratches and dings and I tried really hard to like this thing. However, I couldn't do it, the more I tried to use it the less I liked it. I couldn't get the dial indicator to read accurately. I would set it to zero lift it off of the location and put it back in the same spot and it was not longer on zero. I chased my tail for a few hours wondering what was going on and it turns out the clamp for the slider wasn't clamping. So I fiddled with it for while ultimately realizing that I shouldn't have this issue from something that was purchased "new". I immediately packed it up and started a return and have sent it back. Maybe mine was a lemon and others may not have this experience, but you're been warned! ... show more

    • It just works
I just purchased a Delta 36-725T2, and needed to validate the accuracy. With this device, I as able to establish both blade and fence alignment. The only thing I can't fix with this is operator error. But, this has removed all doubt. Great tool!

Compared to other options out there, this is a much more stout and user-friendly design at the same price or cheaper. Minimal packaging and looks nice too...
