SRAM has great online videos on how to bleed your brakes. It’s easier if you have the same equipment they are using. All seems to be high quality. No issues.

Received this last week. Used it to bleed my brake over the weekend. Watch SRAM's videos on youtube and it's really easy. Two syringes Three adapters (2 threaded, 1 bleeding edge) Two double-ended torx wrenches with 4 different sizes Numerous bleed blocks for the calipers Guide R uses the standard Avid bleed block not the "ultimate" block shown in SRAM's Guide / bleeding edge video. Match the block to the pad shape and you're good to go. Very easy to fill the syringes, burp the air out, attach them, and then flush fluid through the system to both replace old fluid and get air bubbles out. When I bought my bike last year it was already setup and configured. I didn't think much of the long brake lever pull. After a friend did a test ride on my bike and complained about them I decided to buy this and give them a bleed. Quite a lot of air came out of the system. Brake levers are much firmer with less travel now. Glad I bought this as it's easy and important maintenance on a major safety item on the bike. ... show more

Unimpressed with this, especially at the price. The plastic syringes feel flimsy and the tube locks/clips that stop the fluid escaping the syringes are simply rubbish - hard to operate and don't work very well. In the time it takes to screw in the adaptor, fluid always escapes & since it's corrosive, that makes for a fraught and overly complicated process. ... show more
