I liked it because I am not tech savvy. The app was easy to download. The software was very easy to navigate. Use your phone to track. The battery lasted about 10 days. The magnet was super strong. You will not lose this tracker. The drawbacks were you had to subscribe to be able to track, although its fairly cheap. The precise location was off. This GPS tracker is a versatile device that can be used for much more than just tracking a vehicle. I personally purchased it to keep track of my backpack while traveling. However, it’s important to note that you will need to purchase a subscription plan, as the tracker relies on a cellular signal. At around $34 a month, I find the cost to be justified for the peace of mind it provides. The device pairs with an accompanying app, which you’ll need to set up after creating an account. While the app offers some useful features, I found it lacking in certain areas. For instance, you can choose from a few tracking frequency options, with the fastest being every 5 seconds—a feature I really appreciate. However, the next available option is a 30-minute interval, which is quite a leap from 5 seconds. It would have been much better if users could customize the ping frequency according to their specific needs. Despite this limitation, the app does include several other features, such as a trace that functions similarly to Google Timeline, mapping out your movements throughout the day. To ensure continuous tracking, just remember to charge the device daily, and you shouldn’t encounter any issues. Overall, while the tracker and app perform adequately, there's definitely room for improvement, particularly in terms of customization options for tracking frequency. ... show more

    • It does what it is supposed to do
This product showed up the same day I ordered it. It was easy to set up. The magnetic cases are excellent. I am able to easily track my assets. The main problem with these trackers is the battery life. No matter what setting you choose, the maximum battery life is 10 days. Even with only one ping a day, most of the trackers I had to replace with spares while recharging the assigned units, within four days. ( I bought 13 units to cover primary assets). This makes it very hard for me because I have to go find the equipment in the field, pull the tracker off, recharge it in the field in front of the employees, and use a spare that I have to pay for if I need to keep a tracker on the device, during the time that I am charging the original device. Feels like a second job without pay. These trackers, despite their cheap price, are not worth purchasing for fleet purposes. And as a fleet tracker, they costs 25 per unit, per month to operate. Expensive and a lot of extra work. To use as a fleet tracker on trailers and such, it would cost a fortune more to hook to direct battery power, which would defeat the hidden placement aspect of the tracker. These trackers are best used for tracking a family member as they have a very useful SOS feature. Don’t buy these as a fleet tracker tho. Works globally, battery life seems pretty good, and while location initially wasn’t very accurate when I first activated, but it seems to be tracking pretty accurately after it started moving around. The only thing I didn’t know was that it requires a subscription
