  • I'm Impress
Product does what they advertise, work great with my android

  • Garmin is the superior GPS
You can make the argument that Rand McNally makes a GPS that is “just as good if not better.” I’ve used both, ran them side by side across the country. I, personally, would say the Rand McNally are just as good in regards to mapping. Only because they both are pretty good but both will also make mistakes. I did have some issues with the Rand McNally blacking out at random, and freezing up. Tech support was difficult to get hold of and I got the typical “did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in?” So I exchanged it and still had some issues and decided to stay with Garmin. What sets Garmin above others, in my opinion, is the quality/reliability of the product and their customer service. I had a unit go out on me after 5 years of constant use. When I called in (initially for tech support) I was greeted by an English speaking American. So much easier to communicate with each other the information needed to resolve the issue. When all was said and done, my old gps was toast but my new one was on my doorstep within just a couple days. Made in America, employing Americans and standing behind their product is what makes me a loyal Garmin customer. ... show more

  • Very good
This is a good GPS. I would always choose Garmin over other brands. My old gps was also a Garmin which I have it to my nephew and he is still using it without any issues. My only problem with this one was it only shows truck stops/parking areas within 200-300 miles in the what’s ahead menu. This doesn’t help if you are driving 500-600 miles a day and you want to plan where you are going to sleep at night ones you start driving. ... show more

  • Great deal on Used Like New (new update sucks)
The gps works great no gimmicks or faults as of yet. Garmin issued a new update for the maps and it sucks bad. Tells me when I go through Baltimore that I’m on a restricted route no trucks allowed through the tunnel on I-95 lol. Traveled these roads for years and for the gps to stop routing me for a false road warning sucks. 4 stars for the gps itself can’t give a full 5 stars with this new update smh. ... show more

  • Fast response. Many convenience adjustments to be had.
My Garmin Dezel 770 finally quit. So I looked for another one to replace it. They don't make that model anymore. So I went for this model. Little skeptical at first. But after messing with it for awhile. It really is an upgrade in performance and just being a smarter GPS. Garmin listened to it's trucking customers! 7" OTR710 model screen is perfect for me. Any bigger and the cost increase is just not worth it. Got it for 349.00 as a Black Friday deal. ... show more

  • Garbage
This GPS is outdated right out of the box. It did not have updated exit numbers and absolutely was sending me down the wrong streets in Manhattan. I bought it to travel in New York City with a tractor trailer. It is absolutely garbage

  • Works properly now
For being a gps this thing doesn't find way too many addresses. And they aren't even weird addresses, they're just normal business addresses that are on Google maps. -Updated to five stars because I can now send the gps addresses from my phone. It never worked before and then one day I tried again and it worked so that's been very helpful. I've had this garmin for almost two months now and I drive a semi truck so I put a lot of addresses into it. When it finds them it's great. I do make sure to keep it updated. This is my only complaint and the only reason for two stars. ... show more

  • Super frustrating
Honestly wish I hadn't missed the return window, I'd be trying something else (bought this as it pairs with the Garmin ELD). Took me through a crowded residential neighborhood for no reason and put me right back on the street I was already on, then told me to enter the freeway when I'm driving in between a field and a public school. Have had several instances of terrible instructions (leading me down a dead end road for example). When it works, it's fine. When it doesn't, I'm calling it every name in the book. Also I'm not 100% sure it's the culprit, but pretty sure this thing is draining my battery like twice as much as normal. Buyer beware ... show more
