UPDATE: Finally canceled the service because I no longer need it and canceling was pretty easy. I chatted support, said, "hey I wanna cancel" and they pointed me straight to the page to cancel (which now that I see it, I could have found it on my own if I just looked for it). Filled it out and bam, was canceled right away. I saw somebody complaining on here that it wasn't easy to cancel... was pretty easy for me :| Took like 2 minutes. They said I can reactivate it whenever AND it apparently has a LIFETIME warranty... that's pretty amazing. I never see lifetime warranties in products these days. If I ever need to track something again, I'll re-activate this! Worked really well when I was using it! I like it so far but one thing they don't mention on here is the prices for other service options: $25 for 1 minute updates (only updates map every 1 minute) up to $45 for about 5 second updates. I'm using this in case my electric bicycle (a very powerful and expensive one) gets stolen (I hid this unit INSIDE the bike's battery packaging [so it looks like part of the battery] and have it charging via the battery so it will basically last forever) and so far, it works perfectly. I set up a test with my girlfriend where she took the bike and I had to find her just using the GPS. Caught her at a store about 15 minutes after she said "come find me." So I'm very pleased with it so far! I did have to search around in the area for a little bit because sometimes it's not super accurate even outside but still, found her in 15 minutes... pretty good! They don't really advertise it as that kind of tracker but... works well. Pros: - Works pretty much right out of the box, YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO BUY A SIM CARD, it comes with one - my favorite thing about this unit. All you have to do is register your device, setup your payment and then wait a few hours for everything to activate and start using. - Seems to be fairly accurate AS LONG as it's outdoors and moving. Once you go inside any place, as with most GPS units, it pings you all over the place within about 1,000-2,000 ft. Sometimes further. So if your using it for an electric bike like I am, you might want to take note of that. Still gives you an idea of where it is though. - No contract so you can cancel your plan and start it back up if your bike or car gets stolen. This is a pretty huge plus for me. I will have it deactivated until - Long-lasting battery. Not attached to my e-bike battery, it seems to get about a week of life per charge (like from 100% to absolute 0). Connect it to a portable USB charger and you can probably get 2 or 3 weeks out of it. Or do like me and connect it to your car or bike battery and have it last forever without recharging :D - It's small! Love the size, I actually thought it would be a little better. Included a picture of me holding it. Cons: - The service plan... and well, the unit itself, is kind of.. expensive compared to others or a pre-paid SIM card option. Then again, works right out of box. - Not always accurate, even when outside. But it works well enough. Overall: It's a nice little unit. Not the cheapest, but works right out of the box - key feature for me. Didn't have to deal with prepaid SIM card nonsense, carriers, etc. ... show more

Okay. So... I live in Portland, Oregon. One of the nicer neighborhoods, but it is still peppered with crime, graffiti, and rampant car theft. Such a sad state for such a once warm and inviting city. I have 3 Mercedes of various ages, and frankly, I'd like to keep 'em! So I bought 2 for my daily drivers, just to see if they were any good. They arrived, and they are really just a little boxes. Thats it. The service is $30/mo per car, so NOT cheap. But my insurance discounts my policies by $15/mo, so that's something. I charged them. and set 'em up on the website. I had little problem there... just remember the easiest place to "add a tracker" is on the login page. They have all connected without issues. The webpage is just fine... it locates the cars within 50' or so... that's fine for my uses. Lots of customization. Perimeters were a big deal for me, I was able to customize them. My neighbor is going to get one of these for his teen... just to keep his teen "honest"! It should be great. I liked the performance enough (mine are inside body panels and they get a signal just fine, they also track in real-time fine, too) that I bought another unit for my classic 'benz as well. Don't kid yourself... they're just "giving" the units away to get you signed up for their service. I don't know if these units are "unlocked", so I can go with another, cheaper service, but you CAN change the sim card. Overall I think the units are really a great value, the online service is very good (if pricey for multiple units), and, so far, feel like I "paid a quarter and got back a dollar". ... show more

    • Do Not Buy This Tracker
This product did not work the way it was supposed to. I bought it to track a piece of my property that had been stolen multiple times, and I wanted to know who stole it. I attached it, tested it in my own car (it worked pretty well, but I live in a rural area so I didn't expect perfection), so I charged the battery and set the trap. Not only did I get an alert that it had moved and was stolen every hour, when it didn't, but when it actually WAS stolen it never alerted me. It updated for one minute so I was able to see which way the theif turned on the road, but then just stopped. I never got to see where they kept going or where they lived. The battery was alive and almost full, so I called the customer service/technical support lines, and not only are they based in India faking American accents, but they said there was nothing they could do because it was probably in the trunk of a car, so the signal stopped. Even though it's DESIGNED TO track cars, apparently being in the trunk of one stops it from updating it's location. It would only update if removed from the car, but not if it was then placed inside a building, because it ALSO doesn't work indoors. I waited 9 days until I knew the battery had died and it never updated again. Not only did I lose my property, but I called and emailed the company dozens of times and they only half listened to my problem, rarely got back to me, and would only give me a refund for the cost of the monthly service to track it ($25), not for the $120 o spent on the device and it's fees, because I couldn't return the device to them. Because it was stolen and I don't know where it is. Because it didn't work the way they claimed it did. See the irony? Needless to say I'm disputing the charges on my credit line due to faulty advertising, and I would suggest y'all do NOT buy this product. It may be cost effective, and it claims it's just as effective as other tools, but trust me, it's not. Finding out who stole my property would have been worth the extra $100 for a good tracker. After all this I can't afford to try it again. ... show more
