Just installed and so far so good. You will need special tools though.
Pattern Name: 24 Inches Sprayer Wand
I like this new wand much better than the original. It's shorter which is kind of weird but the trigger mechanism works much better and the metal tip is sweet. I use this professionally several times a day and I refuse to buy an entire new sprayer when one inch of the hose is shot. Ryobi does not mak
e it easy to change it out though. I had to buy $25 worth of tools but once you have what you need its a 5 minute job. You will need a Torx t15 with an extra long shaft, so I purchased a set from home depot that had 5+ inch long reach to remove the outer case. Then once inside I discovered that the two clamp screws require a Security Torx bit. Would've meant a second trip to HD but Amazon had a set available with same day delivery so I ordered it. As I said, the job is a snap if you have the right tools. Now I have LOTS of Torx. I generally love my Ryobi tools but I was cursing them yesterday for what clearly was their attempt to discourage replacing parts.

Pattern Name: 24 Inches Sprayer Wand
Sprayer hose end that attaches to Ryobi pump uses a thick walled hose that isn't exactly formed for the size/shape of the pump outlet. This requires that you immerse the end in very hot water for a minute or so to soften the hose, to allow you to manually pinch the hose to a smaller diameter, insert
into the pump outlet, and then twist on the locking nut to the threaded pump outlet to secure. Easy enough, but the hose received would not/could not be attached without softening the hose to the diameter/shape. Once installed the unit works well. The wand is shorter than the Ryobi OEM wand and therefore the reach is noticeably shorter. I have swapped out the supplied wand with a longer wand to restore the original length and everything works well.

Fit our Ryobi Sprayer perfectly

If you ask for a review before I’ve had a chance to use the product, don’t be surprised at the rating. It was 1 tenth the cost of a new machine, it fits and it serves its intended purpose which is more than I can say for the universal replacement that did not fit.

Sensitive to get the desired spray patern. Micro adjustment. Wand is useable, it just that it is hard to get desired spray pattern. The tip is very sensitive. Much better than the junk wand that came with the Ryobi unit. Vendor very helpful. I will use their product again.

Much Better Than the Original Hose/Wand/Nozzle Supplied for Ryobi 18V Chemical Sprayers
Pattern Name: 24 Inches Sprayer Wand
I just purchased a new Ryobi 18V 2gl chemical sprayer for spraying weed killer. From it's first use, the original Ryobi hose/wand/nozzle would dribble out the entire contents of the wand after every spray. If you are spot spraying weed killer, this wastes a lot of the product, and kills grass that un
intentionally gets sprayed. For this replacement hose/wand/nozzle: Once the air was cleared from the hose and wand: After a spray, it would quickly cut off the stream, with almost no dribbling.

Doesn’t fit the P2800 Ryobi chemical sprayer!
Pattern Name: 24 Inches Sprayer Wand
Very disappointing! The hose does not fit into the sprayer as advertised. I like the metal part and the trigger of the wand better than the original which is copper and corrodes. If you have a P2800 Ryobi sprayer, try to find the Ryobi part.

Leaking straight out of the package

Spend the extra couple of bucks and get the original brand. Soon as I hooked it up I had liquid leaking by the trigger.

Item broken on first use. It leaks significantly. I unscrewed and screw back several time, I was about to add plumber's tape to it, but then I remember this thing is new and I should not have to do that, especially since the previous one I did not have to.
