Features

  • A true quantum PAR Meter which senses actual photosythetic lights on plant canopies. Works with any light source including modern LED grow lights.
  • DLI mode calculates average light over 24 hours. Allows comparisons to light levels anywhere on earth. Scan mode averages PAR over the area being scanned. Provides important information on light uniformity.
  • Standard default mode takes instant PPFD readings with .75" easy to read LCD screen. Lightweight yet strudy, the SpotOn PAR meter is scientific grade and reasonably priced as compared to big brands.
  • Extension Wand available to allow readings to be taken further into plant canopy. Sold separately.
  • Comes with it's own removeable stand which can be used as a soil stake. Also has a magnetized screw for quick attachment to metal posts for DLI mode. Also includes a protective pouch and carabiner clip for storage.

I love the product but the packaging was terrible. When you spend $400 on a piece of electronics it does it need to be in a box 10 times bigger than it needs to be with no support not even cheap ass styrofoam peanuts

I’m currently running a canopy of varying stages, with four lights. This helps me to quickly test light intensity at different points and keep the plants where I want them, on a daily basis.

This is a super expensive light meter that I was encouraged to buy for an indoor plant class. Not only was it not worth the high price, but I still can't get it to read DLI after referring to the manual, the YouTube video, and asking my professor for help. It has TWO BUTTONS. It should NOT BE HARD TO USE. I contacted the manufacturer who just resent me the manual I already can download from Amazon. I do not recommend this and will attempting to return (I threw away the box) or give to a classmate. A huge waste of money and effort. ... show more
