My wife wanted me to invest $34,000 in a small backyard pool for the sole reason of playing with the dogs. Now, I love my dogs but $34k!! What if they don’t like it? What if they drown? (My wife is not going to use the pool for herself; it is all about the kids (our dogs. Hahaha!) This Splash Pad solved all of that and is a ton of fun!! Unbelievably, it cost only $34-$39 but it is very high quality material and works like a charm. We have two dogs (not labs who love the water but regular dogs—beagle mix and a chihuahua) but they both love it. It is not too intimidating for them. Water comes up about 4-6 inches only and they love the water sprinkling down on them. There is room enough for two adults to sit and two or three medium dogs. I am 6’1” and it was great fun being a kid again and splashing around with the dogs as the temperature has been in the 90’s here in S. FL. It comes boxed with a written instruction vinyl card which was helpful and setup and take down was a snap. My expectations were low because the price was so low but it has turned out to be loads of fun with no maintenance to do or more money to spend. It took 10 minutes for it to fully fill up and spray at its optimal height and probably about 15 minutes or so to fully drain it. Then I let it air dry, folded it up and stored it on a shelf in my garage, ready for the next time. Would be fun for children too and plenty of room for two toddlers to play parentally supervised. Sprinkler height is determined by the opening of the faucet, so to get max sprinkles, open or turn on the faucet 80% to 100%. Start slow, so you can gage the pressure. The dogs we have are not considered “water lovers” but the Splash Pad offers a non-intimidating and curious adventure for them to explore, romp around in and be with their human companions. The splash pad was so easy to set up, just unfold and screw the hose into. No leaking, great size and definitely non slip and super sturdy. I had mixed feelings ordering this, but it lived up to expectations. The only tiny thing is we haven’t gotten the water to shoot as high as others. Hopefully I can figure that out. ... show more

Looking for something to keep the little ones entertained and cooled off on a nice summer day? Buy this splash pad! Comes in several sizes,it's heavy and definitely durable. It has a non slip mat and the water shoots up pretty high unlike others I've had. It's also a great gift choice.

This Splash Pad measures 84 inches in diameter. The material feels sturdy like a thick vinyl. It comes with two patches, a male quick connect hose adapter and instructions for use. The manual said it may initially have an odor out of the box and to air it out for a few days. I DID NOT notice any odor whatsoever after opening the product. I imagine my two youngest boys are going to have a blast with this when the weather warms up, but right now it's 50 degrees and raining where I live so I'll have to wait until I can give it a full functional test.
