Opening the box brings back nostalgia of the original Spirograph. This set is all that combined with scratch art to make beautiful designs. The only downside I found is the storage box. It is twice as deep as the original so it requires a bit more space to store the set. (If it were offered in a tin, I would have preferred that option, but it's a new concept of combining the art forms.) Other than that minor inconvenience, the box does keep all the supplies organized and ready for use. This was a fun little treat to my inner child. I love the scratch off cards, though they do make a bit of a mess. But I enjoy seeing what each circle and each hole creates. Love the rainbow cards.

    • Good idea but paper tears easily
Good idea but doesn't work as expected. We like other spirograph toys, but on this one if you are pushing hard enough with the stylus to scratch the paper, the paper ends up tearing every time.

This is a great kids birthday party gift! Low cost, not something you see everything so duplicate risk is low, and the black scratch offs are such a hit with kids right now! Love it!
