Description

Studio Acrylics High Viscosity is a fine acrylic offering vivid and deep, richly pigmented colors with a matt, satin finish. Its thick consistency is particularly suited to work in dimension. When applied in thickness, colors retain the imprint of the brush stroke or painting knife. They can be used alone, mixed together, or combined with Studio Acrylics mediums depending on the desired effect. Very adherent and indelible once dry, Studio Acrylics is suitable for most surfaces and ideal for Mixed Media techniques and working in layers. Dry applications offer a permanent and flexible paint film, with good lightfastness. Studio Acrylics High Viscosity is available in 100 ml tubes in 62 colors, of which 5 Metallic, 7 Dyna, and 3 Fluo colors. In addition, 50 selected colors are offered in 250 ml tubes and 59 selected colors are offered in 500 ml jars. AP certified.

What a beautiful color! So intense and shiny. I love metallic colors with regular other colors that really sets a painting off. I love the PEBEO brand because it is great for iridescent colors and Metallica. Very low to no odor from the ones I have purchased. It's important to remember to be in a well ventilated room before starting any arts and crafts project while in your apartment, home or garage. If using any brand of paint for fluid art and you use a chef's torch to pop the bubbles, please have a fire extinguisher on hand. Amazon sells them and so does everywhere else, but it's so much easier to add one to your cart when you are ready to place your order with Amazon. ;) I love all my Pebeo paints. They have the most endearing iridescent and metallic colors I have found in several different sizes. I'm looking forward to the yearly Amazon Prime Days just in case they have more paints on sale. I bought this paint on the recommendation of a fellow gel plate printing enthusiast. It is a good strong Paynes Gray, great consistency. However, I did not realize how big this tube would be as it was measured in ml's not oz's. No worries, it will last me a good long time. This paint goes on smooth and mixes with other colors well. I haven't used extender with it or textural additives (e.g., pastes, gels, sands, glass beads, pigment chips, etc), so I can't speak to how well it works with these. I suspect it would do well.

This paint has a lovely, sheer, iridescent quality to it that's hard to beat. It dries with a shiny finish and has great build up. I use it thinned for dot painting. The colors in this line are like no other.
