I bought the notebooks as a gift for my spouse and she really loves them. The pocket is great along with the elastic. I also like that there is a spot in the upper corner for date and page number.

Beautifully decorated covers with strong pages. Love that the notebooks are spiral bound and a elastic bookmark is a huge plus. Perfect for journaling. Would definitely recommend.

They were exactly what I wanted for journaling. Due to poor packaging the spirals where bent flat on two (top and bottom notebooks),made them unusable. Packaging was not sufficient.

The covers on these notebooks are lovely and the paper is nice, but they all had imperfections that would keep me from giving these as a gift. And I never would have seen those imperfections if I hadn't opened the package and inspected them. Two of the notebooks had indentations on every page. The covers are coated with a matte overlay, but it didn't make it all the way down on one of them. And the pocket inside the back cover was glued down on another. The straps seem fine and there is a place to number and date every page. Luckily I got these for myself and they'll be fine. Even though I'm completely wired in digitally, I still write notes constantly--to-dos, thoughts that will flee my head in seconds, information that needs to be parked until I figure out where it should go, etc. So these will be great (and nice-looking!) for that. ... show more

These notebooks are great. They are not the 8.5x11 notebooks but they're still a good size. They each have an elastic gold band that is attached to the thick back cover of each notebook so that you can mark your place or keep the notebook shut while it's in your bag. The back cover also has a sleeve to hold notes or whatever you'd like. The back and front cover of the notebooks are thick...much thicker than those mead notebooks, these are actually meant to last. ... show more
