I was skeptical to buy this case… but I honestly wish I had bought it earlier! Pros: - The case grips the AirPods extremely well. When you open the case it has enough suction on the lid that it pulls the AirPods up a few centimeters. It’s extremely satisfying feeling. - The included metal ring has an awkward oval shape… however, for me this ended up being a good thing! If you clip it to your belt loop, the case will move around a lot just like a pair of keys. But if you clip it to the actual belt itself (as I did in the picture), then it almost never moves! When you walk around you honestly forget it’s even there. Cons: - The only negative that I can think of… is that the case itself is made of a fabric material. This gives it a great premium texture/aesthetic. But this is also bad because it can get easily scratched if you bump into something sharp. ... show more

I was a bit worried that when opened, the lid pulling the AirPods up a little bit would cause an issue as I've had cases in the past that did this and I didn't like how they functioned. However, Spigen perfected this function. The case feels almost mechanical when opening, providing a satisfying click when opening and closing. When opened, the lid remains firmly attached to to the lid of the AidPods and doesn't slip off like the other cases I had have done. Great value in this case. If you don’t purchase Apple care or even if you do this is a must have. The only complaint I have is the case is difficult to remove if you need to hit the sync button on the back of the charging case because there is no indent or slot to do this with the case on.

Case is solid, definitely on the pricier side, which may nor may not be worth it to different individuals. I've tried the $5 rubberized cases, only to find the thickness prevented the lid from tilting all the way open and making removal of the airpods a bit more difficult. This case solves that problem by actually lifting the airpods case UP while still in the spigen case JUST enough to enable normal vertical removal/access. I believe this to be a great feature when you're out and on the go. However, by lifting up the case like this, it will actually unplug the case from say, a nightstand vertical charger if you're trying to remove the airpods while the case is still plugged into a dock. I do not have the wireless charge models, so cannot comment on wireless charging through the case. While recognizing the pros and cons of the design compared to the uber-cheap rubber ones, I'm much happier with this case and would recommend it. ... show more

I love this case. It fits perfect. I’ve had others and this one fits nice and tight. When you open your AirPods it pulls the lower portion up a bit so you can open the cover completely. And you can charge wirelessly and with the cable without any problems. I would recommend this case over all others. It’s well worth the investment. TLDR; a little pricey but well worth it. When I was shopping for airpod cases I went through the usual list of thin rubber cases or thick-cartoony cases. Both of which have mixed reviews because they've been known to snap where the protective case is suspended by. I didn't want to risk my airpods and I didn't particularly like any of the designs that were offered. I was leaning towards hard plastic cases but they didn't offer very much protection. Enter the Spigen case-- I have been using spigen products for a while now and have had great experiences with them. When I stumbled upon the case it was everything I wanted--it seemed to have a solid connection (hard rubber/plastic), good padding (shell exterior), and good minimalistic aesthetic. Currently have been using it for about 2 weeks now with no issues. My only very small complaint is that its a little expensive and it can be a little difficult to remove the airpods at times because the top doesn't open up all the way with the case, but that's just nitpicking. EDIT: 3 MONTH UPDATE The case is still holding up real nicely. There's barely any signs of wear on the body part of the case; however, on the carabiner/ring part, you can see some wear from where the case slides along it. Only slight discoloration and does not affect the performance of the case so I won't take off a star. ... show more
