I got this as a gift for my partner who has ADHD to keep at his desk to just stim and play with in between meetings. It’s super cool technology and correlates/uses well with the app. The only issue is that the color sensor/instrument doesn’t hold charge as well as we’d like (which is not a super big deal as there’s easy access to charge at a desk). Bought these for my son who is on the spectrum, but since I’ve had them now for many months, I’ve seen all three of my kids play with them multiple times. My son who’s on the spectrum loves them so much and really gets into the music he’s creating! My other son has ADHD and I find that it helps calm his soul. Recently purchased this for my 11 Year old son. We had no issues connecting this to a Moto-Z or Iphone X. Essentially just plug the rings to charge. There was not a Wall Transformer Charger included, however there is a nifty Micro USB splitter / adapter cord that will take advantage of one single Micro USB Plug to charge both rings simultaneously. Admittedly, we were too excited to wait for the rings to charge and started right up for a test run. Had the two rings playing sounds in a few minutes with no issues. We simply paired each ring separately and let the full configuration of each ring process/update. No Issues navigating the application at all. The initial sounds were basic, but in no time flat, we were generating a series looping rhythm sequences, bass riffs, and synth stabs!! Additionally, I must note, these rings could essentially use the same Bluetooth connection to trigger an application that will accept "midi" which was a brilliant plan of Spheros part. The rings will differentiate a maximum of approximately twelve distinct colors reliably via the App, however being color blind, I was able to keep the music moving with no complications, After the Rings are fully charged, we saw about 2 - 2 1/2 Hours of play time which was perfect. ... show more
