I am the proud owner of an ever-expanding portable office, centered around my laptop and two portable external monitors (priceless when you decide to do a webinar from a hotel room...) Unfortunately, I already lost a portable monitor to an accident, so I am getting more careful in how to transfer them. The reason I decided to try this one was the padding, which I hope is going to protect the monitors better than my previous sleeve did. They still need a hard surface to protect the screen, but the padding does inspire some confidence. The size of the main pocket is generous, I am wondering if it would fit a 17" one as well. There is also an external pocket that is very convenient for storing all the cables, and other paraphernalia. My only complaint (not a real one, I should have expected it) is that the size is a little awkward - probably too big for a backpack, OK for a small suitcase though. Knowing what I know now, I might have chosen something that has a handle, So my advice is to think how you plan to carry it - if the lack of a handle is OK with you (which it might very well be) then I'd say it's a good looking, decently padded bag that fulfills its purpose. ... show more

Per pictures, you can see that it is big enough to fit my MacBook Air 15.3". It felt a little too big for only the laptop, but once I added my iPad and accessories, than it became the perfect size. Speck is known as a very good manufacturer of computer and mobile device cases. This computer case is no different. Even though the company slogan, as noted on the box, is "Designed for impact," I certainly would not want to drop my laptop when inside this thing. I doubt my computer would survive. There is little corner protection unlike what you would get in a good computer bag. This is suitable for times when you don't want to lug around a bag, but you need to be more careful with this. It can protect from minor impacts or scratches, but that's all. The zippered front pocket is roomy enough for a power adapter and a few other things. My only concern is the price. It is worth closer to $30 than the $45 price it's selling for due to the absence of robust padding. My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product. A solid buy. 3 Stars = It provides some value, but perhaps not as advertised. 2 Stars = A little dubious, so do your research. Read the critical reviews! 1 Star = Avoid this product and look elsewhere. ... show more

This is an excellent laptop case. It is padded to protect your laptop and is water resistant so just don't go submerging the thing! 😂 It fits my Lenovo 16" laptop perfectly along with the brick charger in the front pocket. It really is just a perfect fit! I am really happy with this case. I love the color of the zippers which glide very smoothly when zipping. Pretty cool looking too. This case comes with a 1 year warranty which is pretty cool too. Overall, I would recommend this case for those looking to protect their laptops on the go! ... show more

I'm gonna be brutally honest. This is a laptop case, not much different from many others. The front pouch is nice for storing stuff like chargers and USB drives, and naturally the main part fits the laptops that it says it does (or in my case, laptop and portable monitor). That being said, $45 for a laptop case is insane. I got one for my tablet years ago, and that one was both made out of recycled scuba suits and a third of the price of this thing. It's got a bit of padding on the inside, but nothing all that thick. Ultimately the big issue with this is the price; this isn't worth anywhere near the asking price. It's a laptop sleeve with a front pocket. There's way cheaper that'll work just as well, and the feel of it just doesn't feel like it's worth that premium. ... show more
