This is just the right thing I wanted for my home office. I allows me to do my business and I can see using this is a real busy service type business too. This is a solid cash cash drawer. I ordered on Monday and received on a Wednesday!!! I am on the west coast. Its a great size. Fits on my desk behind my keyboard and serves as a stand for my flat screen computer monitor. I like the lockable cash drawer cover. I like the 2 keys that are included to lock the box. This drawer is a great buy compared to the $100-200 drawers retail. What a deal. This is a good drawer but I can only wish it closed and snapped close smoother although it closes well enough if not very well. Great service!!! Can it be available in black? Showed up damaged non functional. Company would not replace item or refund my money. Definitely would not recommend this item or this business. Don’t waste your time or money

Sturdy, does the basic job and I like the product. The drawer needs hard pushing in order to lock. I'm guessing that with continued 2-3 attempts to close the drawer, it's life may be cut short. I'm hoping it's a characteristic that will not be livable.The bell is a nice touch, a little flat on the 'ring' but does the basic job of informing the drawer has been openned. I would recommend this product ot other dealers and shop owners in my line of business (antiques). ... show more

    • I'm impressed...
I'm impressed with the quality of this cash drawer! After trying to find an "under counter" cashdrawer for my new business in the local office supply chain stores, I had just about given up on finding anything that I considered to be within a reasonable price range. I mean, I actually found electronic cash registers (something I really didn't want or need) at prices cheaper than what they wanted for a steel cash drawer of this type. I found this one and decided to "risk it"... After all, it was about $110 less than the chain stores... Boy am I glad I did!!! The drawer itself is heavy gauge steel. The paint is a basic "office gray". And the drawer is extremely heavy for what it is. This thing is tough... The mounting brackets and supplied screws are of good quality, though I did swap out the supplied "slotted" screws for some short 1 1/2 inch "Phillips head" dry-wall screws in order to make my job of mounting it easier. The drawer comes with two keys to lock the drawer while you are away from the counter. The internal tray is removable and has two other keys and a locking lid as well so that it can be securely moved to the safe at night. The drawer opens under spring pressure at the push of the front mounted button and announces that it has been opened with and old fashioned "DING!!!" like the cash drawers from days of old. When you get ready to mount the drawer you can do it one of two ways: 1) You can mount the brackets separately and then mount the drawer to the brackets. Pros are: a) you don't have to hold up the heavy drawer; b) you don't have to work around the drawer in a tight space. Cons: a) you need to be extremely precise in your measurements or else the bracket holes and drawer holes will be out of alignment and you'll have to start over; b) if you have to start over, you may have a hard time with the screws jumping into the old holes - if this happens, you've started a running battle in trying to get your brackets to line up. 2) You can mount the brackets to the drawer and then mount the entire unit to the bottom of your counter. (This is the method I used in mounting my drawer.) Pros are: a) you run zero risk of the mounting brackets not lining up with the drawer; b) You can actually see the final position of the drawer before you mount it if you set the drawer on boxes and books high enough to bring it up to the bottom side of the counter on which you wish to mount it. Cons: a)you have to have enough boxes and books to stack in order to get the heavy drawer into position; b) you might have to work around the drawer itself if you are mounting it in a tighter space. Some have given lower product ratings because of issues not related to the product itself (damaged in shipping, etc.) This review is specific to the actual product - not shipping issues or customer service issues... Some need to understand the diffence between product, service, and delivery. Great drawer at a great price! Glad I found it!!! ... show more

    • The only good thing is the bell.
This cash box is sturdy and the bell is fun, but that's where all things positive end. The drawer is difficult to push back in and it slides across the table leaving ugly scratch marks. After barely a month of use it is breaking and becoming difficult to open. Don't be fooled by how intense it looks, this was a waste of money. ... show more

Received it in excellent time, but the package was in terrible shape that it came in, and the drawer looked used on the outside. It had some places on the drawer that was scratched and a little rusted. When you close the drawer, it is hard to push in all the way. Hopefully it will loosen up some after being used for awhile. But, it is serving the purpose to keep the cash safe. ... show more

this product is such a wonderful tool for my office...it is a bit bulky, however, it has power and durability, and I love it...the romovable tray has a key to lock the inside lid, as well as the outer shell of the tray...it meets all my needs...it is safe and secure, and is very efficient....the price is what made the A+ on my list...they shipped so fast...i think in 3 days it shipped...I have stuff out there that i ordered that weighs less than this product, and i still have not received those items yet..thanks ... show more
