Absolute nightmare of a product. Directions are useless, many steps out of order, and a few details outright missing. Requires too much precision, have to constantly go back and redo many things. And once it was finally finished, when moving it into position the pole broke free from the base, tearing open the thin plastic base which is supposed to keep the whole thing in place somehow. We have had this hoop for two months and the plastic bottom has already completely cracked. We just reached out to Spalding hoping they cover the warranty on it because for this kind of money, it shouldn't already be broken from minimum usage... Bummer.

We got this for my son for Christmas. We finally put it together over MLK weekend and filled it with water. Unfortunately we did not know there was a slow leak in the base, which resulted in the thing falling over onto our neighbor's rain gutter on day 2. Now we have a leaking basketball hoop and a bill to pay to repair our neighbors gutter. No recommended. ... show more

I was Looking forward to giving this supposedly portable basketball hoop to my son for Christmas. It arrived and the only thing their was a backboard and a rim. there was no pole, there was no 31 gallon base with wheels so it could be moved. one expects to get what one buys not be sent a product that is different then paid for. ... show more
