I’d rate these pliers at 3.5 stars if I could, but I don’t mind bumping them up to 4. As a pair of lineman’s pliers, they get the job done, but after over a month on job and oiling them up, they are still pretty stiff. And you need two hands to open them up all the way if you are trying to cut larger cable like 12-3 MC, which I never had to do with Klein’s. The crimper is good and I only used the reaming feature just to try it out and I think it would be good in a pinch. I also had no issues with the fish tape puller. I like that these pliers are made in the USA and that Southwire support the Wounded Warrior Project. That definitely was a factor in my purchase. Overall, I’ll probably keep them for around the house instead of on the job. ... show more

The 8.63" measurement listed by Amazon is only accurate if you count the packaging that adds roughly an extra 2.5" of length. These are 6" wire strippers, so if you are shopping for an 8" pair, look elsewhere. That being said, these appear to be of very good quality and excellent value for the price. For a cheap pocket size pair of strippers, you will find no better than these. ... show more
