I'm a big soup person and I love having some in the freezer for easy dinners when I'm at work. I've slowly been filling the portions and it freezes well. Lid stays on securely and also easy to take off even straight out of the freezer. Also pretty easy taking the frozen items out of the mold. I just washed it for the first time and it washes well with no smell. The only issue is that I did notice some staining, see attached pics. I use a lot of tomato based soups and I did notice a slight patterned stain when trying to wash. Very faint and doesn't bother me too much so I won't take a star off but something to keep in mind. I don't own a dishwasher so I hand washed this, don't know if dishwasher would have had better luck. I also have only used this for freezing, have no attempted to microwave or bake in this container so I can't speak to that aspect. But in terms of an easier portioned way to freeze meals and not take up all my to go containers this is a game changer. Will definitely buy the different sizes in future. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These “Souper Cubes” are the solution to many problems surrounding food and cooking. 1) Made a meal but don’t want to eat it all week? Freeze extra portions! 2) Can’t find the energy or time to cook, but want a home-cooked meal? Heat up a frozen extra portion! 3) Cooking for yourself while keeping specific portions in mind? These are labeled and make measuring easy! 4) I get to make and eat meals I actually want to eat, not kid-safe and husband-safe foods. Not to mention all of the other benefits. An example: I made a homemade spaghetti sauce (in the video) and chickpea noodles (first time trying those). I ate one portion and froze the rest (I used green peppers and mushrooms in the sauce, which others in my family don’t enjoy). For lunch a few days later, I heated up the frozen portion on the stove. It only took a few minutes, and man! Those leftovers were better than they were the first night. I’m a huge fan of these and have bought them as gifts. The frozen portions are so easy to pop out. Love that these stack easily on top of each other in the freezer and keep their shape. All around fantastic product. I’m so glad that I have made these a part of my kitchen routine! ... show more

I use my Souper Cubes for freezing various sauces, soups, and stews. Once frozen, everything pops out easily for long term storage in freezer bags. I freeze a lot of tomato-based sauces, and so far nothing has stained the Cube Very happy -- no complaints.

    • Use for soups, broths, and salsas!
My husband and I have an obsession with this avocado salsa that I make. We both get very bummed when we run out so we try to always have some in the fridge. But sometimes when we do run out of it, we can't make any more because the avocados at the store aren't ripe at all... but now we've learned that the salsa freezes really well so we can make triple batches of our avocado salsa and freeze the extra batches so that we always have some stocked up so we never run out anymore. Also I make home-made chicken broth and these will come in handy so much because I've always just refrigerated all the broth and never used it all quick enough before it went bad so now I can freeze it and it won't get wasted. Yay! And it's SO easy to remove the frozen cubes from the mold. I also love that the top of the mold has hard wiring or something to keep the mold from caving into itself. I freeze portions of soup or stews frequently and this souper cube makes it easier than ever. The cube is sturdy and stands on its own, so it's easy to fill and easy to stack in the freezer with the included lid. And once the food is frozen, you can turn it out (which is not effortless) and store it in other containers and reuse the souper cube to freeze more food in perfect portion sizes. They seem a little pricey but they protect food from freezer burn, make storage easier, and are easy to clean and stack, so I recommend them. ... show more

I bought this for freezing single portion servings of soups and sauces. This is the third time I’ve used this size and am quite pleased with how easy it is. Photos are of a batch of red meat sauce made with one 28 oz can of tomatoes. This gives me dinner, plus 4-5 additional servings. As you can see from pics it freezes up nicely. The portions easily pop out of the tray. (I let it sit out in the counter for about a minute before I push them out.) And they fit perfectly in a gallon freezer bag for easy storage. (I use GLAD and it would hold 8 1-cup bricks.) Then I put it in the top section of the dishwasher as I find both soup and sauce tend to leave a greasy film behind. After dish washing there was no discoloration from the tomatoe sauce. Very pleased with this purchase, and to me, it’s worth their purchase price. ... show more

Unless the silicone ever gives out this is one of the best made products all the way around that I've seen in a long time. It's got the stronger edges so you can stack and everything about it is super high-quality. I love the color also. It freezes well too. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy them after first seeing them on Shark Tank. They look like they will last a very long time ... show more
