These are not cheap but will outlast the plastic containers by 100 years. Buy rubber, not plastic. The plastic ones will eventually yellow, crack and the handles will break.

These totes have been the best I have seen so far when it comes to storing video games. The clear cover makes it easy to see the contents and it fits perfectly for the game casings. I ordered this set of 4 stackable bins for a clothing drive we're holding at work. The bins were a much better solution than plastic bags for the initial collection of clothing and household items, and will most definitely be used again for the same reason/other various uses in the future. I took off one star from the rating because one bin was broken in one area on the lip from shipping. While it did not impact the functionality of the bin or the latching lid for the purpose we needed it for, I figured they ought to be just a bit more durable to withstand some rough handling without getting damaged.     • Break quickly - very brittle - too brittle - extremely fragile buyer beware

Buyer beware. Don't buy these they are too brittle, will break quickly and will need to be replaced. These were sold as tough and I bought them because they are Rubbermaid and they are clear plastic, but they perform just like the cheap stuff. Extremely fragile, slight impacts completely shatter them. Drop them only four to six inches with anything in them and they crack straight through the bottom. Stacking them and sliding them on top so that the back side drops a few inches and they crack and shatter. They perform like thin glass and that is saying something. They are unacceptable for a storage container this size. Other Rubbermaid products that I have purchased are tough and durable but they are opaque. When I found these, that they were clear plastic and made by Rubbermaid I had confidence they were as advertised. Very disappointed and at this price point they are incredibly expensive and not worth even buying them at 5 cents on the dollar because they just won't last. Unusable for storage other than soft goods (blankets, linens, plush toys) sitting on soft carpet. Even then if they are pushed against something solid or hard under the bed, they will crack. I haven’t had the chance to really put these to the test, but they are functional and the lids latch well. Like other reviewers, our set came with one lid missing. I contacted Rubbermaid customer service, which directed me to contact United Solutions (they called it a different “department”). United Solutions was very helpful and immediately shipped us the missing lid for free. It took a week or two to arrive, but that was much easier than returning the whole set and buying a replacement. ... show more
