  • Easy to hook up great sound
Once I had the wiring done on inside of car, the amp itself only took maybe 10 minutes to connect and I’m an Amateur. I have extensive knowledge on wiring and cars but amps I do not but it was super easy. This amp kicks pretty good too. When bass hits I can feel my hair wiggle. This is actually my second review because I wanted to see how it was a few months later and I still love this little amp. I drive 180 miles each day to work and back and I use every bit of the power this amp can push and never once had I had a problem. During the really hot months I installed 3 cooling fans just in case because it is enclosed. I didn’t really need to. I have it set with thermostat which is set at 90 degrees and it kicks in minimal so the amp runs on the cooler side. Like I said it’s not 1500w but I’d bet it’s running around 350-500w which is plenty enough to feel it while the neighbors hear it too I plan on buying another one for my other car after winter here ... show more

  • Great amp
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
This is a great amp for any price. I have it pushing a Pioneer TS-W3002D4 12 in my BMW 745 and it hits hard. I have it connected to my factory head unit and I love it. I have the bass turned all the way down to -10 and on the EQ the freqs 100 and 200 are all the way down to -10 and it still hits hard. With the sound quality of the factory BMW pro logic and this amp pushing the 12 it sounds so good. I have had many systems in my cars for over 20 years and this by far for money i spent is the best. I had a kicker amp pushing a kicker 12 and it kept cutting of when I turned up the volume. So I bought this amp and the thing I worry about now it if my windows are going to shatter. Make sure you have a least an 80 amp fuse because anything less with burn out very quickly. I learned the hard way. I have a 100 amp fuse now. ... show more

  • Great amp for the price
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
The only reason i am giving it 4 instead of 5 starts is because I would have liked the ability to connect larger than 4 gauge wire as my power and ground connections. The terminals for power and ground where made for 4 gauge and not big enough for the 1/0 gauge wire i wanted to use. Other than that this is a great amp for the price. All the features you would want in an amp. (Update) I have now owned the amp for a few months and everything still works like the first day i bought it. Another update about 2 years after purchase: Still working great. I am looking at buying another one for my car. ... show more

  • The Biggest Bang for Your Buck
I know an amp in this price range is not a true non-clipping 3,000 watts, but it's probably the best one I have ever bought. It seriously pounds my single 12" Alpine R12. I have both coils connected at 2 Ohms, the signal response is clean with a beautiful excursion, and gives you a back massage while changing the way you breathe. Boys and girls... it's gooooood. It's Gucci. I don't know how long it will last, but I am running 4 guage to it off of a 1,000 amp battery, and have a factory 94 amp alternator. I haven't been able to drive it yet with it yet, so I don't know if I need a cap yet, but strongly considering getting a 2 farad capacitor. The lights started dimming on the hard hits, but the battery was dying. When I put it on the charger, the lights were fine with a 75% load. The amp never went into protection mode at any point; it handled everything I threw at it for 45 minutes straight, and was still cool. I'm getting ready to prepare the mounting area for it at the back of the trunk. If anything changes, I'll update my review. The sub is getting over 800 watts RMS out this little guy. It's quite impressive. I'm going to do an SPL test later as well. TIPS: Do NOT turn everything up to the highest level on your amp unless you want it to have a very short life; It's not necessary. You also need to use the settings on your receiver too to help with the output. Later, I'll send a picture of how mine is set. It may not be right for you, but it is never right for anyone to max everything out. I have this paired up with a Kenwood KDC-501. ... show more

  • Amazing amp for the price
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
I bought this amp March 8th 2021 and it last until October 28th 2021 which I'm not complaining considering it was probably my fault because I have the mounted on top of a box with my 12" 1500 watt so ALOT of rattling over the last 7 months. It was powering a 1500 watt skar audio at 1 ohm and a 10 inch kicker at 2 ohms and 2 450watt tweeters and it BUMPED. still works amazing when it warms up but a solder joint cracked inside the amp I'm assuming because it gets power, but won't power my subs on cold mornings(40-50 degrees) but after its warms up it bumps like brand new. 10/10 recommend if shopping for a solid amp on a budget. ... show more

  • Amp cuts out
I have owned, installed and had MANY stereo systems in my vehicles for years. This amp will cutout randomly when the bass drops. I have a good solid ground, the amp is getting ample air flow so it isn’t overheating. The bass drops to hard and it flies into protection mode. When it works, it works good. I hooked up multiple subs to it and it does it with any sun. ... show more

  • not 4000 watts, but worth every penny and more
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
Ok so for starters, this amp is not 4000 watts. But with that said, this is definitely worth the $130... I bought this roughly a month ago and I've been slapping my 3 kicker CVR 12's since day one. I have everything wired on true 4 gauge with a 3500watt capasitor at 2 ohms, and I could obliterate these subs with ease with this amp. I've ran the system for like 3 hours of pure pounding and the amp doesn't heat up or bitch out. With this set up crammed in my 05 ranger I can absolutely blow the competition out of the water. I haven't heard much about sound storm laboratories and given the fact that its insanely cheap I assumed it would be another generic cheapo pile, but this product has done work to prove itself. It isn't the top of the line, but if you want raw power for a little less buck then this is the way to go. ... show more

  • Nice product/poor product
Style: 4000 Watt Monoblock
The product was nice when I got it. Soo nice I had everyone of my friends on this amp Everything sounded awesome, until after 1 month something shorted out on the board…and everyone later had to change theirs for the same thing..
