    • Good Design and Set of Features
It does what it says it will. Which seems like a pretty low bar to set expectations by, but it's an increasingly frequent point of failure with lots of stuff these days. The materials give away the cost of this thing, and while it doesn't FEEL nice, it does at least look okay - blending in nicely with Amazon's own range of Echo devices etc. The wraparound cloth softens the cheapness of the all white plastic construction. But, then again it IS cheap for what it does. And what it does, it does well. Speakers are impressively loud and clear on this clock. No hiss, buzz, distortion or crackle. The huge variety of sleep sounds which range from genuine white noise to industrial sounds to nature with bird song and waves etc come across loud and clear. It's not underpowered, and if you want it to sound like there's an ACTUAL air conditioner in the room with you, you won't be disappointed. Although, if I were to grumble a tiny bit, I'd say having the volume control on the rear as a tiny dial / wheel is a misstep. It would be better clustered with the more main controls on the top of the device. On the back, along with volume is a wheel to adjust the brightness of the clock. That will take you from very bright and clear all the way down to nothing at all. Nice touch. There's a USB slot for charging, DC power input - the battery compartment for wireless use is below - and then there's your controls for setting the time and alarms, and easily switching between daylight savings time and standard time. On the top are controls to quickly select a set time for the alarm / a snooze. The snooze button. A button to turn on the 'sounds', and a button to initially pair and then select your bluetooth connection in the future. I paired this without any fuss and music is 'fine' through it. As fine as you'd hope through 10w speakers in a thin plasticky case. It provides a stable connection too, with no dropouts. The MagSafe charger is on top. It's not wildly quick, and I find I'll get 5% charge on my iPhone for every 10 minutes it's sat on there. If it's on there overnight, then it's no biggie. If you want a quick top up, you're out of luck. Otherwise, despite the very cheap construction and plasticky clacky feel of it all, it simply works. Without issue.     • It does it all!
EDIT: After using this nightly for quite a while, I've taken off a star. It seems the wireless charger is now becoming picky about where I place my phone, and sometimes it doesn't charge. Today I woke up with a dead phone. If you use your phone in bed and then try to place it on there, it's not easy to get it in the right spot. I will switch to using a cord at night, but it will still work for fast charging during the day when you can really see if it's connected ...... We've used a small sound machine for ages, but we decided we wanted it for travel since it's so compact, so I ordered this charger as a replacement. It's bigger, but it does SO MUCH MORE. First, I love that it has the wireless charging for my phone. It works great and eliminates some of the clutter on my nightstand. We like the range of sounds, but settled for the first one, which is labeled 'white noise' but is more similar to the brown noise we've become used to with our other machine and our phone apps. I like that you can adjust volume and brightness, but I do wish those dials were on the front instead of the back - being on the back keeps you from accidentally changing it, but it also makes it harder to do it in the night if you need to raise the volume for some reason. Every other function works great and the device is just as advertised. I wish it came in black instead of white, but that's a small negative for what is a really versatile device. ... show more

This sound machine packs a lot into one device.     • Has so many sleep sounds, it's hard to choose
I got this mostly for masking the sound of my tinnitus and the dogs' snores at night. I tried the phone charger on top but my case must be too thick because it won't charge no matter how I align it. Bluetooth helped me set the time using my phone but I wish there was an app that I could do more with. Maybe there is one and I just didn't see it. I really like how you can dim the time display. I can't stand any kind of light on my side of the bedroom because it keeps me awake. I have this so I can barely see the time and even then I have to be looking in just the right spot. The dimming and volume controls are on the back and easy to use in the dark because they are on either end. I haven't used the USB port to charge anything yet because I seem to have chargers in every corner of the house and don't need it. I am very satisfied with this machine. ... show more

I was tired of my old clock and seriously upgraded to the Odokee Sound Machine Alarm Clock. First off, the clock has a very nice modern look to it. It's loaded with tons of features and some of the standouts for me are: 1) Wireless charger on top of the clock; great because that frees up more nightstand space without one more charger. 2) You can dim the display which comes in handy. 3) All buttons are a good size on the top of the clock; no more fumbling around trying to find the right button. 4) Bluetooth speaker capability; a win. 5) The sounds! Tons of sounds that will help drown out snores, cars, pets, etc. All of the above make me want to get another for our guest room; definitely recommend. ... show more
