Fast shipping and well packaged. Smooth operation and flawless casts. Very happy with this reel. I have 2 of them now. Of course me, fumbling along the lake bank, lost the DRAG KNOB in the water and it sank. Is there any way to get a replacement? I hope so, I just really like these reels.

Have been fishing 60 years have used all the big names own most of them still bought this one to keep in the back of the truck can't make claims to longevity but it looks like it should last and I have not used any smoother reels in my memory. I use this reel as a spare knock around reel to leave in my vehicle. Overall it is a decent little reel. It is not as smooth as the much more expensive reels. The drag is decent but the anti-reverse is not instant. For the price and initial quality it is a nice little reel. Time will tell, but for those that don’t fish every day or close to it, this is a good choice m. Time will tell but i expect it will at least meet my needs. ... show more

Feels like quality materials had good weight balance. However, one of them had a scratchy feeling when reeling and the other was missing a screw to hold in the handle So I returned both feeling that they will not last.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I did reel it up with some 10 pound line. Seems pretty smooth and the quality for the price seems OK. Time will tell but for $16 if it lasts a few years then I'm good with that.

    • Works fine, handle slightly wobbles.

It does what it is supposed to, and is quiet in smooth. The thing I do not like is the joints on the handle allow for movement, which allows the handle to wobble when using. It gives it a cheap feel. It does work however, and hasn't fallen apart, so it is still a good value.
