Pro: Very comfortable, very well made product, and the hearing protection was excellent. I fired .45 pistol, did not hear any sound. The amplification feature, however, did not work very well for me. I am hearing impaired and I wear hearing aids. My hearing aids gave me feedback when I wore these muffs, so I turned the volume down, but then I could not hear voices and range commands very well. One does not want to miss the call to CEASE FIRE on a range. The batteries are tricky to place and remove. You can do it, but why should it be so difficult? Hands down the best hearing protectors I've ever owned. Noise cancelation is great. Comfort is over the top. I wear mine for up to 8 hours at a time. Sound amplification of normal talking and range commands are the best on the market.

Expensive ear pro but nothing comes close. I was tired of those itchy earplugs when I shoot so a huge improvement. The sound is great. The first time I put them on and turned them on I expected to feel boxed up but you don’t even notice. it is NOT NOISE CANCELLATION, it’s just is to reduce loud sounds everything else sounds normal. I ordered the behind the head set and had terrible time with the batteries. Also found them uncomfortable and felt oddly insecure. Go on YouTube FIRST to learn the battery install trick. Also, use energizers. Supplied batteries are fatter and harder to install. Anyway, the over the head are MUCH more comfortable. LED isn’t very bright but it’s very useful for dredging around in a range bag to find something. If you’re on the fence, get it. Note, despite the advertisements showing a guy clearing a house using the LED, it’s not bright enough to identify a person. On the other hand it would give another person a target to shoot at. Sound is very good, buttons are simple and easy to operate... IF you have your left hand free. Can’t swap sides because the pickup mic’s are on the front. ... show more

These are outstanding at what they are designed to do - amplify low db and filter high db. They are also very comfortable and easy to wear for long periods of time. One caveat though - the base noise reduction provided by these isn't on-par with the best hearing protection, so if you want/need maximum db reduction, then you may need to go with non-electronic with a higher db reduction rating. I managed to get the second battery into the ridiculous compartment with the aid of a steel rod, but there’s no way I’m ever getting the first battery out again. Yes, it’s a nice product while the batteries last, but this thing’s lifetime isn’t longer than that of a set of AAAs. They even have the nerve to include a sticker about how to cram the first battery into the position you’ll never extract it from. Thanks for nothing, Sweden. ... show more
