Overall Noise blocking: Excellent. Even without music on they are very isolating. This may or may not suit your work environment. since you may not hear the OSHA mandated backup-alert, but they awesome for woodworking with routers, saws, and sanders. They work well for ignoring the wife and her radio. Noise Cancellation: N/A. This is not a listed feature for hearing. It was not detectable. It is a microphone feature, which I did not use. Controls: 4 large easy to press buttons, even with leather gloves. BT Pairing: fast and easy. Very soft pads, but definitely sweaty on humid days. Also sadly the tight fit makes safety glasses pitch against my large head. This was the deal breaker for me.

The media could not be loaded. Frankly they're not that great at all! First of all, they are no more comfortable than any other earmuffs headsets I have used, although I must admit they don't put as much pressure on the ears themselves (i.e., you can get them to completely wrap around your ears, so there's no pressure on your ears), but still, after about 10 minutes I had to take them off. I've actually purchased several different brands, including the Apple AirPods, 3M WorkTunes and one other one I can't remember. These come with limited instructions and a link to a website, and then the website link doesn't provide that much more information. Also, I could not keep them paired to my iMac. They would just connect and then instantly disconnect the power would be off on the headset. Tried a half dozen times at least. And I never have trouble pairing anything to my iMac. I finally got them connected to an iPhone, but the volume was low at the highest setting. When I called the number for customer service, I got a recording that said no agents were available to leave your name and number. After two days, I have yet to receive a call. Buyer beware!

It can be really nice to have a pair of BT muffs when working around the house or jobsite - these are useful for lawnmowing, woodworking, weedwacking, etc. I have previously used a 3M Worktunes radio/BT that I can directly compare these to. Please don't pick these up intending to use as just wireless headphones, I suspect you'll be a little let down - they are a little bulkier than regular wireless over-ear cans, but provide much more hearing protection. These ISOTunes muffs were easy to setup, the included quickstart guide has enough detail to be off and running with a QR code for additional details if you need them. Being brand new, the muffs seem to clamp fairly tight to the head - I expect this will loosen up with use. Despite the tight clamping, the pads are comfortable around the ears. They isolate noise pretty well and are entirely sufficient as hearing protection earmuffs. The bluetooth receiver function works well - from what I can tell the sound quality is considerably better than my 3M Worktunes with one caveat - the ISOTunes have an intentionally volume-limited range so you cannot blast your tunes louder than 85db and defeat the purpose of hearing protection. I haven't specifically timed the quoted 40h rechargeable battery range, but overall battery life seems to be very good for daily usage. On one hand, a rechargeable battery is great, since you don't need to buy new batteries to keep on hand. However, it can also be a bit of a hinderance for a product that I see as something to keep in the shop or garage - they might not have enough battery life left if I've been using them frequently without charging. That's a "me" issue, but something of note since my old hearing pro BT muffs used AAs. They connect reliably to my phone, which, honestly is kind of a huge deal. My other muffs never connected reliably to devices, so I got to have a little troubleshooting session every few times I used them. I am a little surprised that there are no rubber covers over the charging and aux ports, as I believe these should be designed for use in outdoor environments, but to their credit the ports are facing downward so will hopefully collect less debris. Overall I think these are really great hearing protection Bluetooth earmuffs. I am looking forward to using them in place of my old pair for the coming seasons.
