Nice rip-stop-like textured knit fabric, cool and lightweight feel, cut is a bit slim but sizing is accurate. I’m normally a 2x, but got a 3x and it fits perfectly. I’m also 5’8 and the sleeves and body have plenty of length for me which is nice. Love the color of the light blue - it is more of an aquamarine than an ice blue, which I prefer. I bought one for myself and one for my daughter, and we have used them extensively. The design provides complete coverage for full sun protection, while the fabric is super breathable and lightweight to stay cool in our desert home. The fabric is somewhat smooth, but still a little snaggy on our dry skin. A smoother fabric would be nice, but that's the only complaint. I love these hooded jackets for sun protection and looks. Very lightweight and cooling, so much so, that on cooler days it doesn't hold in heat and makes me cold. Hoping that during the summer hot it will be just right. Sizing is good. I got a large and I'm 5'8" 145lb. Good stretch in fabric and the sleeves are long Only downside is the fabric is quite wrinkly. It comes stuffed in a really small bag and washing it doesn't take the wrinkles out. I ordered this for my month-long trip to Vietnam. It was the dry season so very sunny and hot. This is lightweight so not suffocating. I love the fit and the zipper pockets and the hood. If you’re using the Grab bikes a lot, having the hood is perfect to wear underneath the helmet that a million others have used. I love that it has the thumb holes as well. This definitely protected me from the sun! I am 5’4” 110 lbs and usually wear a small in women’s. The XS sizing was perfect; this was fitted but definitely not too tight. Absolutely loooove, and it comes in so many colors!!!! I get so many compliments and my girlfriends all want to know where they can get one. True to size, but if you like a more slim/snug fit I recommend sizing down. It is very lightweight, but not very see thru (even the white one... surprising, I know) and washes well too! I avoid the dryer for most clothing, but I believe this would do okay on a low heat setting. Super easy to layer for cooler days. Just get it! ... show more

    • Permanent wrinkles ruin the look

I saw that other reviewers commented about the wrinkles, but I thought that I could get rid of wrinkles. Well, I have not been able to do so, yet. Of course, I washed the hoodie. The tag says NOT to use fabric softener, but I did. It came out of wash with the same embedded wrinkles. I then lightly dried it in the clothes dryer with a dryer sheet. Still wrinkles. Then I sprayed the hoodie with wrinkle releaser and let it air dry on hanger. Still no luck. The wrinkles are embedded, and that did not seem likely in a polyester type material. The hoodie will be used for blocking sun when walking for exercise. I would not want to be seen wearing this hoodie, because the wrinkles embarrass me. ... show more

I initially bought this because I wanted a hoodie that provided protection from the sun, so I was pleased to discover this is very lightweight and breathable. I am extremely happy with the thumbholes as they help to keep the sleeves down and keep my hands covered and protected from sun exposure. Another of my favourite points is the attention to detail around the neck; the jacket, when zipped all the way to the top, actually covers all of your chest and even your neck. For bonus points, this has an exceptionally flattering cut and design, and the pockets are in the perfect location. I didn't want "kangaroo pockets" and very often, pockets are placed too far forward or too far back. These are exactly where they should be. My only complaint is that the hood is large and comes over the top of my head and can drape over my forehead onto my eyes. I just wear a hat underneath it. I was so pleased with this jacket that I ordered additional ones in other colours. They're perfect. Highly recommend! ... show more
