These Buttercloud leggings have become my go-to pants for just about everything. I'm particularly impressed with the material thickness - substantial enough to be completely opaque while still maintaining breathability, perfect for both lounging at home and running errands. The high waist design stays put without rolling down, and the fit is spot-on with the size chart. One of my biggest pet peeves with leggings is visible panty lines, but these solve that problem completely. The fabric smooths everything out nicely without feeling restrictive. I especially appreciate how well they hold up in the wash. After multiple cycles, they haven't lost their shape or softness, and the black hasn't faded. The quality is evident in how they maintain their fit throughout the day without getting baggy at the knees or ankles. The only minor issue worth mentioning is a slight chemical smell when they're new. As someone with a sensitive nose, I noticed it right away, but it does dissipate after a few washes. Don't let this deter you - it's temporary and not overwhelming. These have become a wardrobe staple, particularly during warmer weather. I had but this set previously on S/M, but I gained weight (preggo) so I got the L/XL. I bought these again because I have really enjoyed the first package I had gotten and after a year plus, the originals I bought remained looking good, like when I first got them! They are soft, a good price for the 5 of them, not see through. I just wish they had pockets. Oh! I am 5’ 2” and unlike other leggings, the length is good on this for my short frame. I will say there’s not much tummy compression, so if you’re looking for that, this isn’t it. But if you just want nice comfy, soft leggings for chilling at home or dress up or down running errands, these are good. Also, they are warm but not super warm for winter days outside. ... show more

    • Great alternative to tights!

I wear a 12 women's jeans for reference and ordered the XXL as recommended. I was looking for an alternative to colorful tights to wear under dresses and these fit the bill pretty well. I probably wouldn't wear these out by themselves as they are thinner but as an under layer they are just what I wanted. No holes or other defects were discovered upon inspection and buttery soft definitely describes the fabric! The waist is very comfortable and doesn't roll and the length and fit of the legs is good. I deducted one star as the ankles are a bit baggy. It's not a deal-breaker though as I like the colors and fabric. Overall the value is good by my standards. If they degrade with washing and wear I will update this review but so far I'm pleased. I also got the L-XL for comparison to see if that would balance the ankle fit with the overall fit but that did not work out. The waist rolled when I bent over and the ankles still had some extra width on them. Plus they were definitely shorter in length and rise. They are going back. These are incredibly soft and comfortable. The fit is perfect, and they STAY PUT... even when I'm moving and bending. I almost immediately ordered a second package with different colors, and I'm sure I will order more when it gets cold again.

I bought these for my 17 year old who has severe texture issues. I have the say the texture is great, soft and nothing rough about them. Although, the sizing is way off. My 17 year old wears a s/m in women’s, but the s/m that came barely fit my 13 year old who is still in kids sizes. Definitely size up. I might try going up to the L/xl, but I’m not sure I want to spend more money. ... show more

Perfect for everything except the waist is a little tight. Even this is is helpful to me to watch my diet and exercise more. I love brown. Soft and stretching every way possible. I did not want to take these off after yoga. They kept me warm, almost like doing yoga on a warm summer day naked.
