Rather awkward to install but not much can be done about an undercabinet installation. The screws that came with it are useless - heads broke off when screwing in! Looks nice in place. Light is bright. Fan does make noise but not too bad. We don't have a vent so suction seems reduced.

    • Received a Refurbished Unusable Unit!!
I recently had my 30 inch Soonye digital Range hood installed. After installation the installer pointed out the two fans had different screws holding the fan in. The one fan shook violently When turned on. The remote control did not work with the unit. I emailed the company and after two weeks still have Not received any correspondence from the manufacturer. The loud violent shaking of the fan makes this unusable. Not sure where to go from here. Looking for someone to throw me a rope but so far just silence from Soonye and Amazon. Paul J. ... show more

The description falsely claims that it could be installed for ductless use. It’s not. There’s no way for proper air circulation. I had to send it back.

This stainless steel under the cabinet range hood was the perfect replacement for our 45 year old home and the range hood that was giving out after all these years. It was just the perfect size and installed very easily, even though it didn’t come with any instructions, I think it was may be just a packaging error. It is very quiet when using any of the multiple fan speeds and the lights are just perfectly bright but it would be nice if the light could be dimmed. I had to install this with ductless mode as our previous vent was taken out during a previous remodel. As I mentioned it was very easy for me to install and was straightforward for myself who has a bit of mechanical and construction background. However for somebody who might be a beginner they might find it frustrating that the instructions were not included, but again I believe this may have just been an overlook at the factory and not some thing normally done. One other issue that I ran into is that there apparently is supposed to be a charcoal filter to go over the motor and suction fan however it is not included with it. I only discovered this after googling the brand and model. And finding the instructions that way. High quality appearance, quiet operation, light is bright enough to see what you're cooking. All hardware for installation was in the box. I saw a duplicate item with a different brand name in a local big box hardware store, that was more expensive. Overall this is a good value product.

I'm so happy with my stainless steel range hood! I want to say its very nice, but I think 'beautiful' describes it better. The LED light covers the range really well, and the fan motor is amazingly silent. Swapping out the old range hood with this new one was really simple. I got it to replace my old noisy vent fan and it fit perfectly in place. It hums but isn’t loud. Very nice replacement. Easy to clean and looks really nice.
