Pros: Easy to assemble with clear instructions. 4 stars for comfort (refer to #2 con). “Footrest” seems to be in the right location fully extended. More of a leg rest with my calves on it, which is good to not hyperextend the knees. Cons: #1 Missing hardware to finish assembly. 3 of the 4 bolts required for the armrests came pre-installed with 1 missing (see picture, bolt loosened to be able to see it in picture). Will go to local hardware store tomorrow when they open. Update Nov-10, 2020: Found a bolt in my garage with the proper threading and with my Dremel, a solution. (see 2nd pic) #2 Chair felt a little wobbly, especially when in the up position. Armrests have a little play in them. I fully expected a nightmare for assembly. The instructions were the size of a poster board with full color photos of how to assemble. It was literally 10 steps. This was super easy to put together. We ordered two and we each took 30 min to put it together. One of the chairs was missing a bolt to adjust the height if the backrest and we're having difficulty getting in touch with the seller. They are super flimsy and I can tell these likely won't last a year. They are also very narrow, my hip bones barely fit and there is no room to curl my legs under me.     • Trouble keeping it up!

The chair had issues keeping the seat up. The included gas strut seemed to have an issue keeping the chair up. It would over time start dropping own in spurts till it was all the way to the lowest it could go. I am only 180 pounds, and I recall this having a 300-pound limit. I don't think it can handle that. The armrests are rather flimsy. A small push to readjust and they are moving. Not good. The sides of the seat look accommodating, but they are not. I drive a Camaro, and the seat is similar to that. however, this one is a bit narrower. So if you don't have your legs squished together, the outside of your legs will be hurting in no time. Overall, not a very well built or designed chair. Definitely not worth the price I paid, about $150 at the time. This is a $50-$70 chair in production value. After a very long and drawn-out process of getting it returned, I have returned it and have been refunded bu Amazon. I encourage you NOT to buy this chair. ... show more

This chair was a complete piece of junk, and a total waste of money. The product was missing parts, missing screw holes, and had a lousy assembly manual. It was impossible to assemble because of the missing parts and missing screw hole (you can see in the picture I attached where the hole is supposed to be. I did not include a photo of the missing parts because there was nothing sent to me that I could take a picture of). On the assembly manual, they label the part names A-J, but then do not label the images to identify the parts. Naming each part and giving it a label is not helpful if you do not identify which part you are talking about. I marked up the image to illustrate what a good instruction manual would look like. I told the vendor that the chair could not be assembled and was unusable. Very disappointing. Worst purchase I've made this year. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Was very easy to put together! No fancy tools required, instructions are basically just pictures, not must reading required which for me made it a little more difficult but it was still a breeze to put tougher! the massage pillow is loud from the user end but none of my friends could hear it through my headset. (That could just be my headset being awesome). It’s a bit stiff on the back if you’re sitting for too long, but otherwise it’s pretty comfortable. It’s nice to lean all the way back with the foot stand out, allowing to lay back while watching movies and such. I find the foot stand really makes a difference for healthy ergonomics while gaming for long periods of time. Overall it’s super cute and I adore it for the value, I’m glad this is the one I chose!     • Breaking in less than a week

It was very easy to assemble as my 8 year old daughter put it together in about an hour with minimal supervision. The box came damaged. Not sure if it was the carriers fault. A word of advice about the pillows. Don't open them. They are a real pain to get closed back up and the fluff inside them gets caught in the zipper. As for comfort it seems ok for now. Will have to update more on that in the future. The foot rest seems a bit short for a 6 foot tall person. Update. Changed to 2 stars as not even a week after owning the left arm seems to have broken on the inside somewhere and it is very floppy now despite trying to tighten all the screws. ***UPDATE**** The replacement chair arrived. Went through the trouble of disassembling the defective one and building the new one, boxing up the old one and driving to a UPS store to send it back. Only to find that in less than a week the second one also has issues. It randomly sinks as the piston that holds the chair up is clearly not working correctly.
