This chair does not recline nearly as much as stated, and parts are cheap and flimsy. Every piece of this chair gives under the slightest pressure. Shift a little in the chair, using your elbows, and the arm bows out. Pull out the foot rest, prop up your feet, and the rods bend down. Just sitting down in the chair makes the back bow backward. I read the reviews, but found no context to those that rated the chair low. Here's mine: 5'9" tall 190 pounds Not especially active, but not truly fat. I'm not abusive with the things I purchase, and most things last me a while. This chair feels like it will break within a month, or have the bar that holds up the back bend backward. I did not expect American build quality from this chair, for obvious reasons. However, the build quality is so terrible that I feel completely justified in returning this less than 24 hours after receiving it. I would not recommend this chair for anything other than a child under 100 pounds. Anything more stresses the components of the chair. The build materials seem decent. The all black looks nice. There are two major deal breakers: 1. The arm rests are very flimsy and move. Most chairs have 3 mounting points and this chair only has two weak ones and there is too much side to side movement. They would quickly get worse. 2. The recline is either locked in or all the way back. There is no resistance adjustment like on every other chair. We purchased this for our son, as a part of a gaming station that we set up as his birthday + Christmas gift this year. This chair is really good quality for its price, and he loves it. I purchased this product as a gaming chair for my setup. Assembly was easy, and overall quality is what you would expect at this price point, however, it’s very small. Granted I’m a big guy but it’s small. It fits my 9 year old comfortably. Also, it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It has some nice features like the leg rest and some additional “pillows”, but honest I wish I would’ve bought a chair at office max, which I did shortly after receiving this. ... show more

    • Where Do I Start?
If you thought buying a chair was an easy process...you were wrong. Lets start off by just clicking buy on Amazon. Okay. Nothing too bad yet. Fast forward to getting the chair. Okay its the wrong color. Maybe they can fix that easily. Well, another wrong color replacement a few days later and their support is no closer to solving the problem. Saying Amazon has to send any other replacement due to them not getting reimbursed for Amazon's mistake. Which to be fair, checks out at first and even second glance though I can't confirm Amazon is to blame for both mistakes. With that being said, the seller refused full refund after offering a 3rd chair. Because if you can't get it right the first two times, just try it again...right? Amazon forced a full refund on the seller and now I have 2 chairs and didn't pay for them. Which would be a good deal if the padding on the armrest didn't wear down after a couple weeks and if the screw on the right arm rest stayed screwed in. But one stripped screw and the strongest threadlocker on Amazon later. That problem is solved. So where do I stand with this purchase? Well aside from quite literally the worse purchase experience in terms of getting what I paid for, and even support that shifted blame more than actually helped me get the chair I wanted. The chair works, and the quality is good enough as I think mine is more defective than the average with the armrest and stripped screw. But this leads back to the fact that I never should have gotten this specific chair ANYWAYS so this could all have been avoided. With that being said, if I had to challenge the seller into fixing this experience. It would be to send me a blue chair, like what I ordered and never got. Originally, the first two chairs in the wrong color and a full refund was fine. However, that was very much before the quality issues. That doesn't fix the fact my chair is technically defective and I wasted a lot of time on support emails or Amazon's call center. This is much more a review on the lack of accountability and overall terrible support than the product itself. But again, with that being said. If I were to get the correct chair to fix the quality issues, I would update this to reflect their efforts. But until then, this will remain the worse product experience I have ever received. ... show more

Basically, this is not a bad chair. it assembled easily enough and looks to be decent quality. Be aware that this is a bit on the short side. If you have an under-mount keyboard drawer, you should be fine. Also, it is a bit on the narrow side and the side bolsters have zero give. I am over 6 foot and 250lbs. I barely fit.     • Comfortable but Hydraulics no longer stay up after only 2 months of use
The chair is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time and was easy to assemble. It looks great with my desk and set up. The lumbar and neck pillows are very comfortable for me. Sadly though the hydraulic cylinder to keep the chair elevated no longer stays up. I'll be in the middle of doing something on my computer and will feel myself slowly start sinking. ... show more
