Wasn’t expecting these to sound this clean. The bass is definitely there, but it’s not overhyped or muddy — just tight and balanced. Mids and highs are crisp too, which is what I really wanted. Here’s how it works: when you use them over Bluetooth, you get everything — active noise cancelling (ANC), transparency/ambient mode, touch controls, built-in mic, auto on/off, and voice assistant support. But the second you plug in a 3.5mm cable, the headphones switch to passive mode — meaning all of that shuts off. No ANC, no transparency mode, no touch controls, no mic, no auto on/off. You basically just get basic wired audio like old-school headphones. It still works in a pinch, but you're giving up all the smart features. That’s why I mostly roll wireless — it’s just a better experience. Battery life is excellent — I’ve been getting about 40 hours with ANC off, and 30+ hours with it on. It charges back to full in around 2 hours. Plus, it’s got auto on/off when you unfold or fold the headphones, which helps conserve battery and adds to that premium feel. Sound is amazing and everything else about the feel while wearing these headphones supports that. My head is just above average size for a male and I have to extend the band all the way out so these may not fit my larger noggin friends. I wear these all day for work and have no complaints of comfort. I have switched to using a separate microphone for audio quality while working as the "headset mode" of these and others in this category degrades the audio quality and the mic quality is honestly just "OK." For this reason I have disabled the "headset" input and output so my computer can use the "Headphones" as the output and I can use an audio interface or a simple USB mic for my input. with this setup, my input quality is unbeatable, and I get the benefit of the premium sound quality of these headphones as well. When connected to my phone I just have to deal with the degraded quality for phone calls and the audio auto switches when listening to music/videos/etc. controls take a little to get used to and activating Siri has been the hardest for me, but honestly not too bad since I really don't use this feature very often. I have used these headphones on airplanes multiple times now and I find myself just wearing them without any audio just for the comfort and noise cancelling effect. I am always shocked at how loud the plane is when I take them off to give my drink order (1st world problem...?). love these headphones and would recommend them to anyone. ... show more

Arrived pretty quickly, works good as new! No cosmetic issues or scratches, the cups only look slightly worn but hardly noticeable (and even then, they’re easy to replace in the future). I chose these over the XM5’s due to consistent reports of hinge issues and because they’re too bulky for my taste. I like the look of older headphones more, but to each their own. I got these refurbished, they came in the original case but not the box which is fine. Easily the best headphones I’ve ever owned! No connectivity issues, and they fit so comfortably. The only thing I have noticed is that they don’t seem to hold their charge for long which is odd, so if that continues, I may return unless I can pinpoint the issue. That’s the perk of having these refurbished headphones, they come with a 90 day warranty. Aside from this, I will echo what others have said about the NC causing some pressure. If you have no music playing or just not playing loud enough, sometimes the NC mode can feel like pressure on the ears. I think it depends on your environment. Overall, these were such a steal! Highly recommend purchasing refurbished items, and this seller seems quite trustworthy. This was a great first impression :) ... show more

My favorite thing I own. I live in these things. 14 hours a day. 6 days a week. Sound is great. Control app is simple. Battery lasts 2-3 full days. About 100-150 yard Bluetooth range. Charging is super quick. I think 20 mins gives 10 hours of run time. Owned for about 2 years. I have 2 pair. Bought both used. Zero issues to date. ... show more
