It does a great job of covering the different functions and controls, helping you to familiarize yourself with your new camera. This manual was so helpful! I learned about my Sony DSLR Camera! I now feel like I am a pro! I highly recommend you get this manual if you are trying to familiarize your self with the features and functions. The DVD gave easy to follow instructions as well as some tips and tricks.

I lucked out on Amazon finding this tutorial DVD. It is very informative, I learned more from this Disc than the manual. If you can find one buy it, it is well worth the cost.
