There are good things and not so good things about this Blu-ray player. First of all, make sure you read the fine print because this is not in fact, a 4K player. It upscales to 4K which means it movie and adds qualities so that it appears to be more like 4K and it’s actually pretty good for what it is. It is plug-in plays, not terribly difficult to set up the only thing that I had an issue with is he really have to mess around with the audio settings to get it correct, but once you do, it works fairly well. With the good reviews, I thought this would be a great blue ray player. Nope! Connected it to my tv with provided HDMI cable. I kept getting error messages so I go to troubleshoot. Tested the HDMI cable and it doesn’t work. Also, tried using the remote that came with this. Standing directly in front of the player and couldn’t get the disc to eject…using the remote.     • Not really a “bundle”
This is the Sony S6700 blu ray player with a small cloth included to make it a bundle. The player itself is a huge improvement over my 15 year old player, and the picture looks much better on my newish TV. The picture is definitely more similar to streaming a new movie, whereas with my old player, the picture quality could never be great regardless of the disc or TV quality. I like the machine a lot, I’m just not super convinced at the value of this “bundle”. :) ... show more
