Picked this up as I was curious about what benefits a nylon braid around a microphone cable would provide. This cable is flexible and coils up nicely. The braid makes for a good-looking cable but not convinced this would be a cable for live gigs. I am using it for webcasting/conference calls from my shotgun mic to the mixer. For this application the cable is excellent. It's the proper length, flexible, and looks good to boot. For live gigs, I would worry that the environment you typically encounter would start to get debris in the braid of the cable. I have done shows in the past where I have had to use wipes to clean cables after a particularly nasty venue or show. If gunk got into the braid it would be tough to get clean. Unclear if the braid provides any "armor" with respect to cable strength but it does look good. Non-Neutrik connectors, Neutrik is still the standard for XLR IMO so slight ding for that.
