Description

SONAX CutMax is designed to achieve the highest cutting and polishing results without severely damaging the vehicle clear coat. Sanded areas up to P1500 can quickly and safely be removed with excellent finishing gloss effect. SONAX CutMax is water-based which offers a long working window and will not dry out like other compounds. It is also dust free for easy clean up after use. Simply wipe off the polished area with a microfiber towel. Solvent-free and silicone- free makes it safe for use in body shops and collision centers. Recommended use with: Sonax Microfiber Cloths, Hybrid Wool Pad or Red Cutting Pad.

So I usually use meguiars 105, but I was working on a 56 year old car with lacquer paint and it wouldn't touch it. Tried this product, was very impressed. Product is definitely nice work and does not dust as it dies which is really nice. Must say I notice no difference in the cut when compared to good old Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. That stuff dusts a bit but does just as good a job and costs about 1/3 as much. I guess if you're a high level detailer it's worth it just not for me. ... show more

Has a tough time with even 2000 grit scratches. I used a wool pad on an rotary, did a few passes. Switched to the sonax red pad on an orbital for a few passes. It looks glossy, but it has a very very hard time removing all of the sand scratches. I had to go over multiple times and they still aren't all gone. Unless you love buffing the same spot over and over, I would look elsewhere. I fell for the hype and should have went with Meguiars. It's probably ok for detailers and spot repairs, but for removing sand scratches from a repaint, I would suggest something else. On a side note, it is very easy to work with and stays wet forever. Ran out of my 3m and had this on the shelf from a friend years ago. Went off roading and got a pinstripe I wasn't happy with. Did three passes using Sonex w/ a Griots buffer. Couldn't even tell there was a scratch afterwards. This is a great product f or sure

I was impressed how quickly this corrected and finished out without drying out too quickly. Paired with a heavy foam pad, it only took a typical set of passes to remove a fair amount of oxidation from a 13yr old southern car with severe swirl marks and deep scratches. Still needed a wool pad for the worst scratches, but overall it finished out very impressively. Polished with 3M perfect it, and sealer with Jescar Ultralock plus. Sin duda el mejor compuesto de corte el cut max de sonax , me gusta probar productos tengo varias marcas como meguiars , menzerna, 3d , jescar y hasta ahora este producto me encato. Cero polvo , tiempo de trabajado y eliminación de defectos con un acabado que ofrece los compuesto de refinado .
