Nothing like natural linen and light linen is gorgeous and matches with anything. I wash in washing machine with Wool wash and NO dryer. I hang outside to dry. For stains I use dish soap and alittle bit of oxygen cleaner and let set for awhile and wash and reappear if stain is still there. Linen wrinkles very badly, whether it's scrunched up on your table or fresh out of the washer/dryer. You will curse as you try to iron it. Therefore, it's worth paying a fortune to send it out to the laundry and have someone else take care of the aggravation. That said, I'm pleased with the quality. Hems well done; no dangling threads. Precise corners; neat miters. (Can you tell I'm a needleworker?) I am considering buying another.
