The design is cute, looks like burlap, but is not textured. I'd prefer a more substantial mat, but these do the job well enough. They would slide around if I didn't have a coffee maker and water kettle on them.

These are cheap and flimsy. They are not "mats". Can't be used for a coffee station at all. They are paper thin. Returning them ASAP. It doesn't protect the counter and is small, so it can't cover the counter sufficiently. I would not buy or recommend these. You think you are getting 2 for only $9.99 but that's because they are so cheap feeling and of poor quality. ... show more
