This was super easy to install and very easy to wrap around edges of license plates. High quality materials that will easily withstand New England weather. There are openings on the bottom to allow water to leak out so no worries about your plates underneath. Massachusetts requires any plate frames to be narrow enough that nothing covers any part of the lettering or numbers, or the tags and this one is perfectly legal. Many states have this requirement so this is definitely legal. I will be buying several sets for family members too and this is a great deal. ... show more

At first I thought, "This looks nice and seems good for the money," but ultimately I decided it would be much better to just toss it in the trash and get a good quality plate holder. Not only is this just a flimsy piece of silicone, that will pretty much offer zero protection for your plate and is risky in a car wash, but they send you very long wood tapping screws that will ruin your car. Easy to tell that all these silicone plate borders are just cheap, Chinese scams and I highly recommend spending the money on a good quality plate holder like NYLATA one on Amazon (which actually gives you proper machine screws and real stainless steel). ... show more

Great product! Eliminates all rattling when you close your trunk. I put one on the front and back, make sure you follow instructions as there is drain holes in the bottom so don’t install upside down! Two thumbs up!

I was really impressed with these plate frames. They wrap completely around the sides and back of the license plate and protect the paint job on your car. The license plates had a good snug fit inside the frames. I especially like these because they prevent the plate from rattling... especially if your back plate is on the rear gate/trunk where it gets a lot of impact every time you open and close the door. The quality on these is excellent. They have a good thickness and weight to them. I have had them on for about a month, so I can't speak to the long-term durability of the silicone, but they show zero signs of wear so far - so I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone. ... show more

I've always thought plate frames should be minimalistic and unobtrusive. Until now I've always purchased thin black powder-coated or chrome-plated frames. I didn't realize these silicone frames existed until very recently, so I thought I'd give them a try. I hesitate to really call them "frames" as they're really more of a silicone mat, but they lightly wrap the front of the plate and completely cover the backside. The silicone is highly flexible and it's very easy to slip your license plate in with bare hands. The tolerances seem good as it holds the license plate very securely without much wiggle room. There's holes for the screw mounts and water drainage at the bottom which all line up and work well. The thin wrap-around design allows all important information on the plates to be legally displayed; my home state of Oregon has the expiration stickers at the bottom of the plate and these frames don't obscure anything, unlike some of the chunky decorative frames. It comes with eight large, coarse-thread, Philips-head stainless steel screws for mounting, but were too large for my application. Oddly the frames are packaged in a re-closeable zip-lock pouch. As expected, these are made in China, but quality seems good and the price is acceptable. I'd buy them again if needed. ... show more

This license plate frame slips over the edges of your metal license tag so that your tag does not rattle/dig into/rub against the paint on your car. The frame did not cover any of the legal text on the tag which is good. The screws supplied were, in my case, slightly longer than stock and my assumption is that this is intended to compensate for the additional thickness of the frame. This could be a problem if you don't have enough clearance behind the (typical) nylon screw receiver that's inset to the car body, but you should be able to easily check that using a paper clip or similar technique. These are durable, a great way to avoid rattle, and protect your bumper or tailgate from the marking from your plates. My only comment - not even really a complaint - is that the screws were quite a bit too long for my particular car (2015 Subaru Forester). So just compare the included screws with the ones you have now, and you may or may not want to use the new ones. As I say, not a complaint because it's impossible to have screws that fit every car. ... show more

These liscense plate frames are perfect and exactly what I was looking for! Low profile, wraps the entire liscense plate nice and snugly, and NO EXPOSED LOGOS. I wanted a nice clean look and these do that perfectly. And as a added feature that can drain water, which will prolong the life of my plates even longer. Also, if your liscense plate happens to be secured by two screws and you have the problem of liscense plate rattling this will definitely cure that. Since it wraps the whole back and sides of the liscense plate in a nice soft cushion you won't have that rattling noise anymore! ... show more
