This frame does the job of protecting the car nicely. It looks good, installation is easy. It comes with screws that are a bit longer than standard ones but I didn’t need to use them; it’s not very thick and my original screws worked just fine. It fits tightly on the license plate and feels secure.

I've always thought plate frames should be minimalistic and unobtrusive. Until now I've always purchased thin black powder-coated or chrome-plated frames. I didn't realize these silicone frames existed until very recently, so I thought I'd give them a try. I hesitate to really call them "frames" as they're really more of a silicone mat, but they lightly wrap the front of the plate and completely cover the backside. The silicone is highly flexible and it's very easy to slip your license plate in with bare hands. The tolerances seem good as it holds the license plate very securely without much wiggle room. There's holes for the screw mounts and water drainage at the bottom which all line up and work well. The thin wrap-around design allows all important information on the plates to be legally displayed; my home state of Oregon has the expiration stickers at the bottom of the plate and these frames don't obscure anything, unlike some of the chunky decorative frames. It comes with eight large, coarse-thread, Philips-head stainless steel screws for mounting, but were too large for my application. Oddly the frames are packaged in a re-closeable zip-lock pouch. As expected, these are made in China, but quality seems good and the price is acceptable. I'd buy them again if needed. ... show more

I specifically bought these so that I could mount my license plates with the tags fully visible. They look very good and match my car's trim nicely. Best part, I was able to mount them securely with NO RATTLES whatsoever. I LIKE IT.

This is a good product, however, its not something worked for me. I wanted to put my front plate (in pa we have a rear license plate only) in this. However, my front plate is an eagles plate. Which is thicker than a metal license plate. I just wanted to put it in something to kinda frame it almost and secure it a little better. Anyway, i did eventually jam it in there, n it barely worked, i feel like a traditional license plate, being much thinner, would work just fine. The plus side is that these r pretty strong. I was pulling and grabbing and cussing n slapping this thing while jamming it inside, n it took it rather well 😅😇. So, it will technically work for this plate, but the side started to pull back off of it a little bit, because they made this for a standard plate n i ddint think about the fact this plate is 3 or 4 times thicker than a regular plate. Def buy this if u have a regular plate. N i think they should make something for laser cut team plates as i cant be the only person who has ever tried to use one of these on them. The rubber covers are adequate. The cover the edges and fit alright around the plate. I think making all the margins/overlaps even would have looked better than what I received. The photos on the product page show an even border. The pictures I've attached are what actually came. It looks odd and doesn't serve a purpose. The screws are a waste of postage. They are enormous self-tapping sheet metal screws. They are zinc coated steel. Take a magnet to one if you want confirmation. On the Gulf Coast, this is NOT "rustproof" (as advertised above). Not even close. But since they don't work with the majority of modern plate mounts (which use metric machine screws) they are irrelevant anyway. If they had cost any more I would have returned them and tried again. But they are just meh enough to use. ... show more
