I chose this slinky because of the material it is made from. The metal does not corrode in the weather and the metal is durable. Ok, I don't use these as a toy, I use them on my bird feeders. My feeders are on a post stuck into the ground. I hang the slinky over the pole. This prevents squirrels from climbing the pole and raiding my bird feeder. The quality is great—it doesn’t get tangled easily and smoothly walks down the stairs, step by step. Even after two months of regular use, it still looks brand new. Had one as a kid and now by them for my grandkids. Just make sure they don’t stetch it by pulling it out because it will never be the same after. Works best on stairs. Easily ruined so be ready for your kids and/or grandkids to complain that it is no longer working. Fun while it lasts.
