I like nearly everything about this camera/monitor and the quality of its construction. I recommend it and would buy it again. I place the camera on the rear bumper of my 28’ camping trailer with the monitor on the dash of my tow vehicle. Installation is easy because no wiring is required and hardware is included for nearly every imaginable monitor mounting (see photo). Thanks to the camera’s strong magnetic base, I’ve never had the camera move on the camper bumper. The video quality is great and the wide angle view covers all my mirrors’ blind spots. The camera signal strength is also good. As a test, I even unhitched and moved my tow vehicle 50’ ahead of the camper and still did not lose the video image. After a full charge, I found the camera could run continuously for about 19 hours. The monitor displays an icon for the camera battery level, so it’s easy to tell when charging is needed. The system includes a 64GB memory card to make recordings—helpful in the event of a traffic accident or if the system is used as a security camera. Recordings are automatically saved in 1 minute segments using an AVI file format. On my Apple computer I installed the VLC App to view the recordings. I had an out of warranty failure with a previous model camera from this company and the customer service I received via email exceeded my expectations! Even though the failed camera was out of warranty, provision was made to give me a free replacement camera. The only negative I would point out is that the instruction manual and video tutorials do not fully explain the interaction of the three separate power switches. During my tests I found: 1. The camera power must be set ON for normal operation but OFF to charge the battery. The camera can only be cycled ON/OFF remotely if the camera power is first set ON. 2. The monitor power button only controls the video display. It does not remotely cycle the camera ON/OFF and it does not stop the system from making recordings if recording is enabled. When the display is cycled ON/OFF with this button, the system retains the date and time settings. 3. The switch on the monitor cable plug controls all power to the monitor. When the plug switch is set to OFF, the monitor turns OFF and any video recording ends. When the plug switch is changed from OFF to ON, the monitor immediately turns ON and video recording begins automatically if the SIM card is installed even if the video record option was previously set to OFF. When the plug switch is cycled ON/OFF the camera remotely cycles ON/OFF only if the camera power is first set ON. If the plug switch is left OFF for more than 2 minutes, the system date and time settings are lost. ... show more

Impressed! Very well packaged. I believe they thought of everything here, multiple mounting options to suit whatever application you need. Power via the included cigarette lighter adapter or hardwire direct to ACC/Ground to turn on when you start your vehicle. All of the components feel very high quality. Initial charging of the camera for a couple of hours, then let the sun handle it from then on. The included USB A to USB C cord is appreciated as we all transition to iPhone 15 and beyond. Monitor mounting solutions for windshield suction, overhead or flat surface mount, I really appreciate the completeness of this kit, many systems require you to adapt something or make a run to the hardware store to get them mounted. Power button and charging port (if ever needed such as if your vehicle was in covered storage for an extended time and not in the sun daily) are sealed and protected. The integrated mounting base for the camera itself is very robust with plenty of adjustment to get you the exact angle you seek. I think this would be an excellent system in a truck bed as well for always-on cargo view or a really perfect view on a fifth wheel hitch as you are hitching up or monitoring while driving. I am certain that you, like myself, have found that the factory cargo view camera systems (if equipped at great expense) quite lacking in utility. The camera mount is magnetic, a strong magnet too, equipped with threaded holes should you decide to mount more permanently or blind mount, as well as slotted surface mount provisions, again, they have thought of everything here to make this an all in one solution. The real kicker here is the word “wireless”. There are many camera systems sold as wireless, but while there may no wire (cable) going from the camera to the monitor, there are still wires required to power the camera(s) itself and you’ve got to get that figured out and I know many people aren’t comfortable with that, for you, this kit is the Easy Button you’ve been looking for. Crisp, clear image in the monitor, quick connection with no lag between what the camera is seeing and what you are seeing in the monitor. A full initial or from fully depleted charge on the camera from zero to full is approximately 4 hours, the battery on the camera would then last 24 hours in complete darkness, good thing the sun will be up long before that to take over keeping the battery charged up. The manual recommends a 2 hour charge to get you started but I went ahead and left charging the full time before my initial use, the camera has indicator lights to let you know the state of charge at a glance. Really like the added feature of the on/off button on the cigarette lighter plug, saves wear and tear from pulling it out, also has a pass thru USB C port to power other devices. The user manual is complete and well written, the user interface on the monitor is easy to use and understand. I tested this to a very impressive distance of 120 feet away, and the only reason I stopped was a fence. The longest trailer that exists is probably a 55 ft so the range is excellent. Instant connect, no problems reconnecting when powering the monitor on/off which also powers down the camera. The range is so good I can also see some application for people with very long driveways and having their monitor inside the house on a 12v power supply. Highly recommend!!!! The wavy lines of the screen photos are a product of taking a photo of a screen with different refresh rate than the camera, the picture in real life is crystal clear. ... show more

After an extensive search for a camera system that could meet our RV needs and provide flexibility for various scenarios, I found the perfect solution in the wireless trailer camera. I can remotely control the rear camera of the RV by pressing the power button on the monitor's power wire, eliminating the need for me to step out of the cab to turn the camera on or off. This is my favorite feature. Straight out of the box, the camera seamlessly starts working without the hassle of pairing. The picture quality is impressive, and the included memory card adds a touch of convenience. The magnetic mount is exceptionally strong, requiring both hands to remove it—an assurance of its stability during use. The only area for improvement is that I hope this trailer camera system can support simultaneous pairing with four cameras as soon as possible, as it currently only supports two cameras. For professional use, the easy setup, factory-paired display and camera, and the option to add more cameras make it a versatile choice.
